Dear Mr Prakash,

Today is a very special day, and I just wanted to take a moment to say a BIG THANK YOU.

Thank you for all the hard work, dedication and, above all, the patience you have with all the swimmers. The hours of training, correcting technique, pushing them when they need to be pushed, encouraging them when things don’t go as planned, and continuing to believe in them.

This has been knocking at the door for a while now and today, Keyan broke the National Record twice in the same day for the 200 IM and the 50m Butterfly for the category 10 years old.

But behind this NR there is a coach who helped make it possible, a lot of hard work that doesn’t happen on race day. It happens every day at training, and you deserve a huge part of the credit for that.

Your commitment, patience, discipline and dedication to the swimmers are truly appreciated. You are not only training swimmers to become faster; you are helping them develop confidence, resilience and the belief that they can achieve things they once thought were out of reach.

Thank you for believing in him, pushing him, guiding him and, most importantly, being patient with him throughout this journey.

This is a very special achievement not only for Keyan but also for all swimmers and the club as well, and hopefully it is just the beginning of many more to come.
