We are thrilled to announce that Malta U21 international defender, Ivin Farrugia, is officially a permanent member of the Mġarr United family!
After a fantastic loan spell with us last season, Ivin has put pen to paper on a permanent contract. We’re excited to see him continue his development and anchor our defense for the seasons ahead.

Welcome, Saverio Meschini! 🟢⚪️

We are thrilled to announce that Saverio Meschini has joined the Mġarr United team as our new Physical Trainer. Saverio brings a wealth of expertise and a high level of professionalism to our coaching staff:

FIGC Professional Credentials: Qualified as a Professional Physical Trainer by the FIGC (Italian Federation) in Coverciano.

UEFA Certified: Holds a UEFA B coaching license.

Academic Excellence: Earned a Degree in Sports Science, followed by a Masters in Sports Science, Health, and Physical Activity.

Extensive Football Experience: Has served as both a Physical Trainer and an Injury Management & Rehab Specialist with ASD Boreale, Roma City FC, and Lodigiani Calcio.

Specialized Expertise: Beyond the pitch, he has worked in a high-level physiotherapy center, focusing on rehabilitation and athletic enhancement.

We are excited to have someone with his background and dedication working with our players.

After a challenging period on the sidelines with a lengthy injury that kept him away for nearly two seasons, Miguel showed incredible resilience to return to regular first-team football during the second half of last season.
