A full day of graded squash awaits, with events for different levels:

🕙 D Grade — Beginners | 10:00 – 13:00
🕛 C Grade — Improving players | 12:00 – 15:00
🕑 B Grade — Intermediate players | 14:00 – 17:00
🕓 A Grade — Advanced players | 16:00 – 19:00

YONEX MEN & LADIES TEAM TOURNAMENT 2026 🎾

A close and competitive Yonex Men & Ladies Team Tournament came to an end, with Team Y finishing as winners and Team N placing as runners-up.

It was a tight battle right to the end, with only 1 point separating the two teams in the final standings.

Marsa squash players take on Marseille 🇫🇷

Ten players from the Marsa Sports Club Squash & Pickleball Section travelled to Marseille at the end of June to compete in the French Squash Masters, held between 26 and 28 June.

Representing Marsa were Roberto Bugeja, Jonathan Calleja, James Falzon, Adrian Farrugia, Mark Formosa, Gary Guinness, Oliver Raine, Robert Sultana, Brian Tonna and Mark Zammit.

The French Masters forms part of the European Squash Masters Circuit, a series of tournaments organised across Europe for players aged 35 and over. For most of the group, this was their first experience competing in a European Masters tournament outside Malta.

The event brought together players from different countries, giving our members the chance to test themselves against a strong international field while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Masters circuit.

The trip was about more than just competition. It was also an opportunity for the group to support one another on court, explore Marseille together, share meals and create lasting memories through squash.

A big well done to all players who took part, and to the Squash & Pickleball Section for coordinating the initiative.

The experience has already inspired plans for another overseas Masters event, with the Italian Masters in September being considered as the next destination.

Introducing Adults Only Pool Hours at Marsa Sports Club.

Every Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the pool will be reserved for adults only — giving members the chance to enjoy a calmer swim, unwind by the water, and ease into the weekend.

Whether it’s a few quiet lengths or simply some relaxed poolside time, Friday evenings are now made for a more peaceful pool experience.
