Our boys represented the club with pride, created unforgettable memories both on and off the pitch, and continued to grow together as a team.

Two of our promising young players Gianluca Cacciatore and Nikki Vella left Malta today for a week's training in Slovenia at Slovenian club NK Izola. The training exchange programme was organised by Balzan through its overseas connections.

We wish the boys luck and hope they benefit lots from the experience - and we look forward to following their progress and receiving feedback from NK Izola.

Balzan FC proudly congratulates Coach Andrew Cohen, Senior Team Head Coach, and Coach Etienne Vella, Academy Director, on successfully obtaining the UEFA Pro Licence – the highest coaching qualification in European football.

We also congratulate Coach Chris Schembri and Coach Liam Calleja on successfully completing their UEFA C Licence.

These achievements reflect the commitment, dedication and passion our coaches have for continuously developing their knowledge and delivering the highest standards of coaching to our players.

At Balzan FC, we place great importance on continuous coach education and fully support our coaches in their pursuit of further qualifications. We are also proud that another 7–8 coaches are currently completing their UEFA A, UEFA B and UEFA C Licences, further strengthening the quality of coaching throughout the club.

Preparing for the Season Ahead 💪⚽

As the start of the new season draws closer, our U14, U15, and U17 players have embarked on a month-long pre-season programme throughout June under the guidance of the Academy's Physical Trainer, Ryan Cassar.

The programme focuses primarily on strength and conditioning, helping players build a solid physical foundation ahead of pre-season training. In addition, all players have been provided with a nutrition plan and an endurance programme to follow independently.

These initiatives are designed to ensure that our players return to pre-season in the best possible condition, ready to meet the demands of what promises to be a long, challenging, and exciting season.

We thank our players for their commitment and dedication during the off-season period and look forward to seeing the benefits of their hard work on the pitch in the months ahead.
