Every moment is precious and full of redemption. Come and discover the Oneness of all things, explore it and live it! Whereas, based on thinking, modern schooling - the promoted worldwide sitting at a desk - turns our beautiful planet into a disk, bound to flip over. Destroying and denying Life and the Meaning of Life allover. The dream of mankind to go beyond the known to the unknown can become reality. Should become reality! To clearly see and situate the predicament of life on this planet and thus transform it into a predicament of intelligent life on earth does not have to remain a dream. Dreams are legitimate, nigh, they are necessary and the precursors of things to come. Without dreams, there is no understanding of the permeable space of the possible. Dreams are therefore doors to the impossible. Who would refuse a look in true deep space if afforded one? Billions of dollars are spent around the world for this purpose but only vague glimpses rather indirect, captured by huge electronic ears, radioantennas and interpreted by computers have so far been yielded. It should therefore come as a huge surprise that there is a way for all to afford more than just glimpses into deep space. Mauritania, its expanse and uniformity, dotted with jewels of humanity offer a way to continually stay tuned to the vistas of deep space, and what's more and tops it all, to realize THE DREAM OF DREAMS, NAMELY: A VOYAGE THRU DEEP SPACE. And this without any intermediary devices (it has been measured that a manned spaceprobe to the Omega constellation, the nearest possible landing point still well within our Milky Way would consume more energy than produced on the whole globe) but scientifically and in direct observation and fleshcontact with deep space! To understand the probability and, yes, feasibility of this it is necessary to remind us of the results of some scientific research and understand what is so deep about space. Research has shown two very important facts to those interested in intergalactic travel:
First, there is the theory of relativity unearthed by Einstein and refined by others, which simply states that observation and observer are interdependent, that is, influencing each other. That in the course of such a voyage not only the object (what we look at) changes but perception as well (the way we look at). One interesting fact connected to this discovery, and which everyone on the trip will eventually experience, is that the notion of time changes: There may be no more time left...
A second result of different scientific disciplines such as nuclear physics, microbiology, and astrophysics, shows that deep space is all around us, and, as a matter of fact, within us, and therefore the notion of deep, that is: seemingly beyond direct sensory access. This deep space shares the same characteristics, shows the same vibration patterns, be it within us or without us, so that these limits become redundant. Therefore, the continuum of deep space is quite aloof of any notion of self or I. Deep space in fact is where the I, the observer is not. Therefore, as long as there is an I, we cannot see deeply, much less travel through it, even though we hang in its expanse suspended by it. The structure of it seems to be evenly distributed: vast expanses of nothing stretch between things, be they heavenly bodies or atoms (thus, a human body condensed fits easily into a needlepoint). Be it in the macro or microcosmos, the behavior of its constituents follows similar uniform patterns: similar ratios of great velocity to seeming inertia, distributing similar fields of gravity. Therefore, the definition of deep space as a continuum: if we penetrate still deeper into deep space, into the subatomic realm, we observe a great deal of movement: what comes into existence almost immediately disappears. In this field drops the foundational revelation of Allah, the One. Physicists have condensed all the existing phenomena to four fundamental forces active in the universe: gravity, fluidity (or cohesion), temperature and movement. Allah activator and creator of it all, ruler of the Universe, leaves no space to speculation or coincidence, all is under the rule of Law. So to the desert-dweller, the wayfarer, the bani sabil, everything appears in perfect happenstance. Humility, gratefuleness and existential fear coupled with surrender come out of this. All human traits are shaped by this. Contemplating constantly in awe the law, Allah -

Assuming there is a way to such galactic travel open to all, independent of our linear notion of time: could it be that its technology has been encapsulated in some form to survive various relative perceptions of time, tainted as they are with local culture, local beliefs and understanding? Let’s call the process using this technology initiation. Let’s assume further that the technology resides at the heart of religion, mostly unrecognized. Each period of mankind has its hue concerning the captivating notion of time. in the middle ages, the staggering and absolute faith in God around which civilization was shaped, and literally all decisions were taken even small ones of daily necessities, made time relational to God. God was experienced as eternal, beyond time. To many, whose beliefs and actions were rooted in constant contact of the fact of divine intervention from beyond time, time took on the quality of a straightjacket, of suffering, and the references to a socalled ‘hereafter’ were numerous and certain. We can still observe this medieval conception of time in Muslim countries, for instance in Africa. Invoking the mercy of Allah precedes every action, and many a word! There are human beings, who by their constant appreciation of the supratemporal workings you may call it the mercy of Allah, divine intervention have mastered to exit time the way we know it. Yes, for those candidates with intergalactic ambitions: to exit time will be necessary to capture the edges of a universe receding at light speed! These saintly men are called Marabouts in Saharan Africa, and, yes, as you make your way to their often hidden dwellings, difficult to get at, you are astonished to see around the bend of the road, or after having negotiated a cliff, their places of worship of work. Indeed, very often they resemble space platforms, with their domed houses and mosques, strewn in the expanses of the desert. Now, I cannot ascertain that they are intergalactic travelers, but of some I suppose them to be. What could be their technologies? First the cleanliness of their dwellings, and the humility of their demeanor strike you. As a first time visitor it may not be clear to you that the protocol, the hierarchy, the gestures, the composure, the deportment, the looks, the greetings, and the exchange of water are all part of a teaching of initiation. As a modern man you have come to look for tools, as symbols of mastery. And, indeed, you will find what we call a rosary. Not very convincing for the hightech spaceage microchip invader! But look, what a rosary is: beads assembled on a string. These beads are passed one by one through the fingers in a mindful way, often accompanied with a muttering, a murmur, a ‘holy’ word or phrase. With the making of contact between each bead and the fingers, a new moment to perceive this has arrived. It demands attention from one's mind. Then, this moment is gone. A new one may arise with the awareness of pressure or heat generated by the contact. Whatever it will be, it could be anything. Important is to observe what is. So one mind is following another mind. A mind of softness may precede a mind of awareness of touch; a mind of joy may precede a mind of the perception of joy, or a mind full of the mortality of the moment, it all depends on what prevails at this particular and unique nevertocomeback moment. The experience could humble you, since you will discover, that whatever may prevail at a particular moment of observation is not of your doing but beyond your control! And this gives you a first cue to this modest tool, capable to shake some deep-rooted assumptions about yourself.
