🇱🇺 Local Tournament – EuroSoccer Luxembourg 🇱🇺
Local tournament night on EuroSoccer, with Stefan, Cindy, Christophe, Stephan and Anthony in action.
No official results this time — but the pictures say enough.
Serious faces, crowded tables, spectators standing way too close… and balls that were very attached to the table. Sticky, unpredictable, and clearly not interested in rolling straight, turning every match into a test of patience and creativity.
👀 Rumour has it that Stephan quietly finished 4th.
Unconfirmed. No bracket. But the whispers are strong.
Packed room, proper local atmosphere, and another classic local night — messy, intense, and exactly why we keep showing up. 💚

🇬🇧 Waterloo Foosball Masters – London 🇬🇧
This time the squad headed to London with Leo, Stefan & Christophe, and the weekend unfolded in very different ways across the events.
🏆 Open Doubles
Leo teamed up with UK legend Rob Atha, the two even showing up in matching vintage AC Milan jerseys — unintentionally setting the tone early on.
In the quarterfinals, they faced Tony Spredeman, widely considered the Tornado GOAT, and his partner Rudolf Brenner. Rob’s defensive performance in that match was pure class — very prime Paolo Maldini energy — and from there the run carried on all the way to 1st place, the money was immediately all spent on beers, 5 in total.
On the other side of the bracket, Stefan & Christophe teamed up and unfortunately exited early in the last 16 — while also unintentionally ruining the dream of a possible Score Space final by being placed on the other side. Bracket gods giveth, bracket gods taketh away.
🎯 Open Singles
Chaos. Absolute chaos.
The event moved so slowly that Stefan never even made it to the pro tables.
Leo eventually bowed out in the quarterfinals against a strong Bernhard Kraus.
🗺️ Singles (Christophe Edition)
Christophe skipped singles altogether and opted to explore London instead — arguably the most efficient decision of the weekend.
All in all, a solid trip with a big doubles win, some missed chances, and plenty taken away for next time. 💚

🇦🇹 Austrian Tornado Open 750 in Baden bei Wien - Recap 🇦🇹
This time Leo went alone. No backup. No safety net. Just pure exposure.
💤 Mixed Doubles
Short and… painfully slow. First-round exit in a match that tested not foosball skills, but the human ability to stay awake while standing. Alarm clocks were missed, points were lost.
🔥 Singles
Redemption arc activated. Solid run until running straight into the (literal) big lights on table 1 against Tony Spredeman, current world #1. A tight 3–1 loss — not peak form yet, so it’s back to the lab with this one.
🥶 Doubles
Teaming up with Nico Wohlgemuth, things started perfectly: on the way to the final, they took down US legend Billy Pappas.
In the final itself, they went 2–0 up against Šimon Vároš & Thomas Haas.
And then… disaster.
One of those matches that will be replayed in the head at 3 a.m. for years to come. But don’t worry — revenge is a dish best served cold, and this one has definitely been put in the freezer.
No trophies this time, but plenty of lessons learned and things to work on. Not a bad way to wrap up the last tournament of the year. 💚
