❌ No Rally Colorado for us ❌

Despite my best efforts, I was not able to secure the budget needed to compete at Rally Colorado. I’ll continue to work hard to try to secure funding for future events.

Not the we had hoped for.

All dreams were dashed when we blew 3rd gear on SS4 which caused the transmission to lock in 4th for the remainder of the loop.

Upon swapping the transmission in service, we split open a fuel line which forced us to DNF for the day. That evening we towed it to where Pat fabbed us up a new fuel line and enabled us to restart for the final day.

After rejoining on Day 3 with time penalties, the plan was to run with a clean pace and try to recoup some championship points.

Unfortunately on SS17, we hit a hidden drainage culvert which cause extensive suspension damage. Somehow the car was still driveable and we were able to limp it through the last 3 stages to make it to the finish. A character building event, that’s for sure.

The result dropped us to 5th in the overall ARA championship but we are still leading the Limited class.

Ready for the final day of the

Huge shout out to my crew Logan, Forrest and Pat Moro for getting the car ready for the start of a new day. It was a long night but we are sorted.

Goal is to have fun today and see how the points shake up at the end of the rally.

It is also my son’s first rally. He’s very excited 🙂

Unfortunately a DNF for us. Blew 3rd gear on SS4 then was stuck in 4th for the remainder of the loop. Upon changing the transmission in service, we damaged a fuel line. We will try to fix and restart for tomorrow. Sorry to all our supporters, just not our event this time 🙁
