@3:00PM the 2026 Intra-Governmental League BASKETBALL FINAL will see the defending Champions: "The Umbrella" NASSCORP vs "The Marine Pointers" LIMA
NASSCORP will be there to cover everyone, while LIMA is going to navigate the storm.
Only one team will leave with the crown and the bragging rights for the whole year.
Expect that the ball starts bouncing at 3:00PM sharp, as the cheerleaders bring the noise and wait for the final whistle to decide who’s king of the court

2026 Intra-Governmental League "DRAMA"
- MYS TELLS NPA: "GO BACK AND COUNT CONTAINERS!"
The "Sports Bureau" of the Ministry of Youth and Sports(MYS) told the "Port Boys" of the National Port Authority (NPA) that football is not their job description in Government.
Host team MYS did the talking on the field too, after 2-0 win over NPA in the 2026 Intra-Governmental League on Thursdays, 24 July.
Translation: "Pack your boots, go back and fix the economy."
With that loss, the Port Boys are officially out of this year’s tournament.
Meanwhile Minister Cornelia Wonkerleh Kruah's MYS has sailed straight into the Semi-Finals.
Moral of the story: Stay in your lane. Or learn to kickball.

The Aviation Authority Warned: "The "Air Strip" is NOT for regulating "Current"
The Liberia Civil Aviation Authority has declared the "Air Strip" a NO go Zone for "Electricity" regulators.
On Wednesday, the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority delivered a powerful message at the SKD Sports Complex by defeating the Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission 5-3 in a full 90-minute quarter-final clash in the 2026 Intra-Governmental League.
The LCAA, returning as a "Best Loser," transformed their opportunity into a Semi-Final ticket, while LERC's inaugural journey in the IGL concludes here.

THE SPORTS BUREAU IS FLYING HIGH!
- Touched Down In The 2026 IGL Semi-Finals
The Ministry of Youth and Sports "Sports Bureau" kickball team has secured a spot in the Semi-Finals of the 2026 Intra-Governmental League.
A 4-3 home run win over Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) on Wednesday saw the Ministry of Youth and Sports "Sports Bureau" build their own stadium right on the "Air Strip."
The runway is clear. Next stop: Semi-Finals.

THE CURRENCY IS STILL SPENDING IN IGL 2026!
The Central Bank of Liberia Kickball Squad has booked its place in the Semi-Finals of the 2026 Intra-Governmental League.
CBL Kickball punched their ticket to the Semi-Finals with a 6-5 home run win over Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).
With "Currency" still very much in circulation, CBL continues its strong run in the competition.
LEC tried to "cut the light," but CBL’s investment in the hydro project kept the power on and the runs coming.

LERC Switches Off LACC to Book 2026 Intra-Gov League Final Four Spot
The Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission (LERC) football team, known as the "Electricity Regulators", secured their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 Intra-Governmental League with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the "Integrity" of Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC).
The quarter-final match was played on Tuesday, 14 July, at the SKD Sports Complex.
In a game true to its name, LERC demonstrated control and composure, effectively "regulating LACC’s power" and shutting down the "Anti-Grafters" attack to seal the win.
With this result, the Electricity Regulators continue their impressive run and remain in contention for the 2026 championship.

LPRC "FUEL TANKS" TURN UP THE HEAT WITH 8-3 HOME RUN ROUT OF GAC

The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) Kickball Team, aka the "Fuel Tanks", ignited the 2026 Intra-Governmental League with a dominant 8-3 home run victory over the General Auditing Commission (GAC) to advance to the semi-finals.
The quarter-final showdown was played on Tuesday, 14 July, at the SKD Sports Complex.
From the first inning, the Oilers were clinical in attack and in full control, overwhelming the "Auditors" with power hitting and solid defense.
With this emphatic win, LPRC strengthens its championship push and remains one of the teams to beat in this year’s tournament.

LEC "Light Up" Into Semi-Final
- After Shoot-Out Win over MOL
The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) Kickball Team has qualified for the semi-finals of the 2026 Intra-Governmental League following a tense quarter-final victory over the Ministry of Labour (MOL).
The match took place at the SKD Sports Complex.
After three innings of play by each side, both institutions were tied at a 2-2 home runs draw, forcing the game into a shootout.
In the shootout, LEC’s composure proved decisive. Three strikes against MOL’s pitcher were enough to secure victory and send LEC’s “Light” into the semi-finals of the competition.
The Liberia Electricity Corporation now advances to the final four as it continues its pursuit of the 2026 Intra-Governmental League championship.
