‎BUCHANAN, Grand Bassa County - The Bassa Sports Association (BSA) has appointed Aloysius Glassco as head coach of Grand Bassa's football team for the 2026 National County Sports Meet.
‎
‎Glassco's appointment was announced on Wednesday as part of the Association's unveiling of the county's technical staff across football, basketball, and kickball. According to the BSA, the appointments followed a vetting process conducted by its Vetting Committee and were subsequently approved by the Association's leadership.
‎
‎The experienced tactician, who currently serves as head coach of Tebeh Football Academy, has been entrusted with leading Grand Bassa's football team as the county prepares for Liberia's premier inter-county sporting competition.
‎
‎The appointment marks another significant step in Glassco's coaching career and reflects the BSA's confidence in his ability to guide Grand Bassa back to competing for honors at the National County Sports Meet.
‎
‎In announcing the technical staff, the BSA said preparations for the tournament will commence in the coming weeks, with the newly appointed coaches expected to begin assessing players and identifying talent from across the county.

‎Grand Bassa will be hoping that Glassco and his technical team can assemble a competitive squad capable of challenging for the county's first football title in more than a decade.

‎BUCHANAN, Grand Bassa County – The Bassa Sports Association (BSA) has appointed Lovo Opato Mulbah Jr. as Head Coach of the Grand Bassa County Kickball Team ahead of the 2026 National County Sports Meet in Lofa County.

‎Mulbah's appointment forms part of the BSA's newly announced technical staff for this year's County Meet and marks a significant milestone in his coaching career.

‎He succeeds veteran coach Anthony Jambah, under whom he previously served as deputy coach during Grand Bassa's successful kickball County Meet campaigns.

‎Beyond his County Meet experience, Mulbah currently serves as head coach of Destiny Montserrado in the Liberia Kickball Federation's top division, where he has continued to demonstrate his technical ability and leadership.

‎The 2026 National County Sports Meet will represent Mulbah's first tournament as Grand Bassa's head coach, with expectations high as the county seeks another successful campaign.

‎Titus Kpãïñáy has been one of the standout performers for Future Star FC in the LFA Grand Bassa Third Division League. His Liberia U-17 provisional call-up is a reward for his hard work, dedication, and commitment, highlighted by his decision to spend his birthday training instead of celebrating.

‎Beyond his club performances, Titus recently played a pivotal role in helping Bassa Seventh-day Adventist School capture the Grand Bassa Inter School Sports Association (ISSA) League title for the second consecutive year, further cementing his reputation as one of the county's elite young prospects.

‎His football journey began at just 10 years old in the Watco Camp Community in Lower Harlandsville. From an early age, Titus displayed exceptional technical ability, confidence on the ball, and maturity beyond his years, quickly earning recognition as one of the area's most gifted young players.
