St. Sylvester’s College Welcomes New U19 Head Coach 🇳🇱🏏

The Past Cricketers’ Association of St. Sylvester’s College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Champika Maduranga Aluvihare as the Head Coach of the St. Sylvester’s College U19 Cricket Team.

Mr. Aluvihare is a dedicated and results-oriented cricket coach with over 9 years of coaching experience at school and club levels.

🇳🇱Key Achievements:
- Guided the U19 (Sri sumangala college )team to become Joint Champions of the 2025/26 U19 Division III Tier A Two-Day Tournament and secured promotion to Division 2 Tier B
- Led teams to U19 Quarter Finals and One-Day Semi-Finals
- Developed high-performing players including bowlers with 80+ wickets and a batsman with 850+ runs in a single season.

Level-1 Certified Coach from Sri Lanka Cricket,Mr. Aluvihare specializes in technical development, strategic planning, talent identification, and building a positive team culture that promotes excellence on and off the field. He is also a former school and club Cricketer , bringing strong leadership and tactical experience.
