🎾 AXEL vs ALEX – Part II: What. A. Finale. 🎾

What a way to close the second edition of this incredible rivalry!

After trailing on Day 1, Team Axel produced an unbelievable comeback and came within touching distance of one of the greatest remontadas our Luang Prabang tennis community has ever seen.

The decisive moment came during the crucial game between PE/LOUISON vs RODOLPHE/DORIAN. Team Axel leading 5–3 and holding match point, play had to be stopped as a pickleball ball accidentally rolled onto the court. The point had to be replayed.

Luck? Destiny? The tennis gods having their say? Probably a Rodolphe divine invocation???

Whatever you call it, Rodolphe and Dorian seized their chance, turned the momentum around, and fought back brilliantly. From the brink of defeat, they won four consecutive games, claiming an unforgettable 7–5 victory and securing the overall win for Team Alex!

The scorelines only tell part of the story. Over two days, we witnessed:
🔥 Intense rallies and dramatic twists
💪 Incredible fighting spirit from both teams
👏 Respect, sportsmanship, and fair play
😄 Plenty of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments
