We are absolutely thrilled to announce that 15 amazing adults have taken the courageous step of joining the first phase of the Adult Learn to Swim Programme, headed by Coach Nedd Lestrade ! 👏🏽🎉

And guess what? They are doing GREAT!🙌🏽🏊🏽‍♀️🏊🏽‍♂️

From nervous first steps in the water to building confidence, learning breathing techniques, mastering floating, kicking and beginning to move through the water — our participants are showing up, putting in the work and making progress! 💪🏽✨

An Amazing Team from the USA Makes a Splash in Nevis! 🌊

What an incredible week it has been! 🙌🏽💦

SwimRite Swim Club extends our deepest and most heartfelt THANK YOU to an absolutely amazing team of swimming instructors who travelled from the 🇺🇸 United States of America to Nevis to pour into our children through our Learn to Swim Summer Programme.

And what an honour it was to have Paralympian Dr. Diane Straub, a two-time gold medalist 🥇🥇, join the team! Her presence, expertise, experience and passion for swimming made this week even more special. 🌟🏊🏽‍♀️

🌟 75 CHILDREN TOUCHED! 🌟

At the end of this amazing week, SwimRite Swim Club touched the lives of 75 Nevisian children! 🇰🇳💙

But the impact went even further. Children from the United States and other parts of the diaspora who happened to be vacationing here in beautiful Nevis during the week were also able to participate and benefit from this incredible experience. 🌎🌴🏊🏽‍♀️

This was more than a swim camp. It was an opportunity to:

🌊 Learn important water-safety practices
🤝🏽 Build friendships across borders

🏊🏽‍♀️💦 SWIMRITE LEARN TO SWIM CAMP IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 💦🏊🏽‍♂️

What an AMAZING first day! 🎉🙌🏽
Training was conducted on the beach and in inflatable pool, creating a fun and safe environment for all our swimmers. 🌊🏖️

SwimRite Swim Club proudly welcomed 51 young swimmers from across Nevis, ages 3 to 13 years, for the first day of our Learn to Swim Camp! 🏊🏽‍♀️🏊🏽‍♂️🌊

From the moment the swimmers arrived, the pool was filled with energy, excitement, laughter, learning, and lots of splashing! 😍💦👏🏽

Our young swimmers are being given the opportunity to build their water confidence, swimming skills, technique, and most importantly, water-safety awareness. 🛟🏊🏽‍♀️

We are incredibly grateful to have 8 dedicated volunteers supporting this year’s camp. Our volunteer team includes professional swim instructors, medical doctors, experienced swimmers, and lifeguards. 👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️🏊🏽‍♂️🛟👏🏽

Their knowledge, experience, and willingness to serve are helping to make this camp extra special! ❤️

Today was about more than learning to swim it was about building confidence, developing life-saving skills, making new friends, and creating positive experiences in the water. 🌊💙
