ឯកឧត្តម លន់ សាមឌី អគ្គលេខាធិការសហព័ន្ធកីឡា អេឡិចត្រូនិក កម្ពុជា មានប្រសាសន៍ថា សហព័ន្ធមានសង្ឃឹម ប្រមាណ ៧០% ក្នុងការប្រជែងដណ្តើម មេដាយជូនជាតិ នៅ Asian Games 2026 នៅជប៉ុន ខណៈកម្ពុជាធ្លាប់យកឈ្នះ ប្រទេសខ្លាំងៗមួយចំនួនក្នុងតំបន់ ហើយធ្លាប់ចាញ់តែឥណ្ឌូនេស៊ី ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

H.E. Lon Samdy, Secretary General of the Esports Federation of Cambodia, said the federation is 70% confident in its chances of competing for medals for Cambodia at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, noting that Cambodia has previously defeated several strong teams in the region and has only lost to Indonesia.

Mr. Chim Pheara, Secretary-General of the Cambodian Mixed Martial Arts Federation, said that at the Asian Games in Japan, Cambodian athletes may have some weaknesses in grappling techniques. However, when it comes to striking, kicking, and other stand-up techniques, their opponents will not dare to take them lightly, as most Cambodian athletes have a strong foundation and expertise in Kun Khmer, which is one of their key strengths.
