អ្នកស្រី ឈុន រៀម គឺជាកសិករម្នាក់ក្នុងចំណោមកសិករដទៃទៀត ដែលបានចូលរួមជាមួយគម្រោង ការបន្សុតពូជមាន់អាស៊ី (AsCGG) ដែលបាននឹងកំពុងអនុវត្តដោយអង្គការអភិវឌ្ឍការចិញ្ចឹមសត្វដើម្បីជីវភាពសហគមន៍ និងវិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិសុខភាពសត្វ និងផលិតកម្ម។ ក្រៅពីសកម្មភាពបន្សុទ្ធពូជមាន់ស្គួយ កសិករ ឈុន រៀម ក៏កំពុងចិញ្ចឹម ដង្កូវរុយ ដើម្បីយកមកធ្វើជាចំណីសម្រាប់មាន់ ដែលជាប្រភពប្រូតេអ៊ីនជួយបង្កើនគុណភាពចំណីក្នុងការលូតលាស់របស់មាន់។

Mrs Chhun Riem is one of the farmers participating in the Asian Chicken Genetic Grain (AsCGG) project which implementing by Livestock Development for Community Livelihood Organization and National Animal Health and Production Research Institute. In addition to the chicken breeding improvement activities, Mrs. Chhun Riem is also raising Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae to use as chicken feed, providing an additional source of protein to support the growth performance of the chickens.

On March 9, 2026, the Livestock Development for Community Livelihoods (LDC) organized a meeting and visit to a cricket farm for a group of senior officials from the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
Objectives
• Strengthening partnership and collaboration between LDC and ILRI
• Updating the Asian chicken genetic grain (AsCGG) project
• Improving community livelihoods and market linkage especially for cricket products

ការចិញ្ចឹមដង្កូវសាច់ចេញពីរុយជាប្រភពផ្តល់ប្រូតេអ៊ីនសម្រាប់សត្វចិញ្ចឹមក្នុងការកាត់បន្ថយតម្លៃចំណីដែលជាកត្តាប្រឈម១ក្នុងចំណោមកត្តាប្រឈមផ្សេងៗទៀត។ អង្គការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ការចិញ្ចឹមសត្វ ដើម្បីជីវភាពសហគមន៍បានកំពុងផ្តល់បច្ចេកទេសក្នុងការចិញ្ចឹមដង្កូវនេះជាមួយកសិករបន្សុតពូជមាន់ស្គួយ។
Larvae from black soldier fly is a good source of protein for livestock to reduce feed cost which is one of among other challenge in livestock production. Livestock Development for Community Livelihood (LDC) is providing BSF raising technique to Skouy chicken purring nucleus farm in Takeo province.

ថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ក្រុមការងារ LDC និង NAHPRI បានចូលរួមប្រជុំពិភាក្សាស្វែងយល់ជាមួយគណៈកម្មការសហគមន៍កសិកម្មជៀបសន្តិភាពស្ត្រីក្លាហាន ស្ថិតក្នុងឃុំជៀប ស្រុកទឹកផុស ខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង។​ សហគមន៍មានសមាជិកគណៈកម្មការសរុបចំនួន៨រូប និងមានសមាជិកសហគមន២៥១នាក់។ សកម្មភាពសំខាន់ៗរបស់សមាជិករួមមានការធ្វើស្រែ ការចិញ្ចឹមគោ ការចិញ្ចឹមមាន់/ទា ការដាំបន្លែសរីរាង្គ និងការងាររងចក្រ។ល។ ភាគច្រើនសកម្មភាពទាំងនេះគីអនុវត្តតាមលក្ខណៈប្រពលវប្បកម្មដែលធ្វើអោយទិន្នផលមិនសូវល្អ និងសត្វកើតជំងឺជាដើម។​ អ្វីដែលសហគមន៍ត្រូវការរួមមាន៖ វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលបច្ចេកទេសពីការដំាដុះ ការចិញ្ចឹម និងការផ្សារភ្ជាប់ទីផ្សារផលិតផល។
On August 15, 2025, the LDC and NAHPRI teams attended a discussion with the Cheab Santipheap Satrey Klahan Agricultural cooperative committee located in Koh Kandal, Cheab commune, Teuk Phos district, Kampong Chhnang province. The main purpose of the meeting is to understand the main the activities and potential in the AC. The community has a total of 8 committee members and 251 community members. The main activities include rice cultivation, cattle raising, chickens/ducks raising, growing organic vegetables, and work at garment factories, etc. Based on these activities, AC members got in poor yields and diseased outbreak in animals, etc. From these challenging, the AC members needs include: technical training courses on rice cultivation, animal raising, and marketing link to those products.

9 August 2025, Livestock Development for community livelihood (LDC) and collaboration with National of Animal Health and Production Research Institute (NAHPRI) conducted monitoring on Skouy breeding program and demonstrated on coding with chick for second generation.

On 14th July 2025, AsCGG project team led by International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in collaboration with National Animal Health and Production Research Institute (NAHPRI) and Livestock Development for Community Livelihood (LDC) had conducted the online meeting to discuss the second phase activities for other four years project which will start from 2025 to 2029. AsCGG in Cambodia will focus more and specific on Skouy breeding chicken.
Asian Chicken Genetic Gains (AsCGG) is ACIAR funded project aims to test and avail high-producing, farmer-preferred chicken strains to increase smallholder chicken production and productivity. The partners countries to implement AsCGG in phase 2 are Cambodia, Vietnam and Lao.
