We recently hosted the incredible team from o at our Tengeneza na Somo Hub! Our very own Okuku Josphine led them on a deep-dive tour of our production floor, showing them exactly how we turn raw ideas into retail-ready, investable brands.
While SHOFCO mobilizes and empowers communities, Somo acts as the economic engine, providing the manufacturing space, branding experts, and KEBS compliance pathways entrepreneurs need to scale.

We loved hosting Finn Church Aid (FCA) Uganda and FCA Kenya at our Tengeneza na Somo production hub! ๐คโจ
The team visited to study our model as they design a new womenโs economic empowerment project. We shared how Somo scales agribusinesses through hands-on training, shared manufacturing space, and market linkages, while trading insights on what truly works to help women-led enterprises build sustainable livelihoods.
Exchanges like this ensure that future grassroots programs are built entirely around what entrepreneurs need to succeed.
