The heart of unity 🤝, Strong Family ,D3
the heart of unity and the stronghold of Lou Nuer, Uror County of Däk Yien Dinäy, hosted one of the most significant community events in Turkana West Kakuma refugee camps.
The event lasted two to three days, bringing people together for the fundraising, celebrations, and a farewell ceremony for Däk community children sitting for Form Four examinations and CBC Grade Six and Grade Eight.
It was inspiring to see South Sudanese communities and the entire Nuer community turn up in large numbers to support and stand with the Uror community. This is a true reflection of unity, solidarity, and community spirit. 🤝🇸🇸
And of course, the Uror girls made the event even more colourful! 🌟 Their beauty, confidence, and participation added great energy to the celebrations Nyie Gon tang. Uror is proud of its young women, especially those pursuing education and contributing positively to the community.
Special appreciation goes to the Uror Community Chairman, Mr. Malou Malual for his leadership and commitment to bringing the Uror community together. Your efforts toward unity and cooperation deserve recognition.
Mr. Chairman, you are a champion! 🏆 Keep uniting the community chief Däk, keep supporting education, and keep moving Uror forward.
