Some pictures of Chojun Miyagi, Great Teacher and Founder of Okinawan Goju-ryu. He was born in 1888, April 25. We sincerely light a memorial license for the Great Teacher. The flame of his legacy will always be lit, continuing for generations of Okinawan Karate martial artists to come.

This photo, which was taken in 1952 shows Chojun Miyagi with many of his students. His three most senior students: Eiichi Miyazato, Meitoku Yagi and Seikichi Toguchi are standing behind Miyagi. Miyagi himself is seated in the middle. Maybe he'll proud because of Okinawa Goju-ryu, his legacy, is the willow tree but still blow by the strong wind. Till this day.
