Today we had a wonderful duo from Russia join us for an e-bike ride out to Enoshima and the iconic Shichiri Crossing — one of those quiet rail-side spots that feels like it belongs in a film. Before they headed off, both of them stuck a BEETLE RIDER sticker right onto their iPhones, and honestly, that never gets old for us. モロッコから3人で鎌倉を訪れてくれた。竹林で知られる報国寺から、スラムダンクの聖地として名高いあの踏切まで、Eバイクを駆ってまちのあちこちを巡ってくれたそう。「Eバイクがあればどこでもすぐに行ける」と、鎌倉をたっぷり満喫してくれた様子だった。また鎌倉に来るときは、ぜひまた一緒に走りましょう。

Real riders, new roads. 🇯🇵

A couple rode in from Tokyo to spend a Sunday with us in Kamakura — and these two are no strangers to two wheels. They're shovelhead and Evo riders at home, with a third custom build already on order. Today though, they swapped the thunder for something a little lighter and let the coast lead the way. Fresh seafood in Kotsubo, then up through the hills to Meigetsu-in, where the hydrangeas were in full bloom. The kind of ride that stays with you long after you're back in the city. We hope you come back soon!

東京からカップルで遊びに来てくれた。ふだんはショベルヘッドとエボに乗るバイカーで、3台目のカスタムオーダーも進行中だそう。今日は鎌倉の風に身を任せ、小坪で新鮮な海の幸を堪能し、あじさいが見頃を迎えた明月院へ。エンジン音のない静かなライドだからこそ感じられる景色もある。またいつでも走りに来てください。

🌺🇲🇽🇵🇭 From the islands to the hills of Kamakura — some adventures start with a house hunt.

We had a wonderful couple from Hawaii (with roots in Mexico and the Philippines) join us for an E-BIKE ride along the coast. Their mission? Scoping out real estate in Zushi and Hayama — and honestly, we can't think of a better way to explore a neighborhood than on two wheels. They told us the bikes felt just right: compact, easy to handle, and perfect for weaving through the winding seaside roads. Something tells us this might not be their last ride here.

ハワイから、逗子・葉山へ。メキシコとフィリピンにルーツを持つご夫婦が、この日のライドにやってきてくれた。目的は海沿いのまちの不動産めぐり——その相棒として、BEETLEのEバイクを選んでくれたのが、なんだか嬉しい。「小さくて、すごく乗りやすかった」と話してくれたお二人。潮風の中、ゆっくりと未来の暮らしを探す旅。素敵な出会いに、ありがとうございました。

🇩🇪 Five friends, no plan, just the open road — our favourite kind of ride.

We had a wonderful group from Germany roll up to BEETLE RIDER today, ready for a full four hours of pure freestyle exploring. No destination, no itinerary — just five good friends chasing whatever Kamakura had to offer, winding their way through the coast and backroads at their own pace. It’s the kind of ride that reminds us why we love what we do. They’ve been travelling Japan for two weeks now, and next up is Nikko — not exactly the first stop most visitors think of, and honestly? We love that for them.

ドイツから仲良し5人組が遊びに来てくれた。行き先はあえて決めず、気の向くまま鎌倉の道を4時間たっぷり走り回ってくれたそう。日本には2週間滞在中で、次の目的地はなんと日光とのこと。なかなかニッチでしぶいチョイス、思わず「わかってるね！」と声をかけたくなった。旅の残りも、どうか最高の時間を。

🇦🇺 When the plan is simple: trust the one who actually has a plan.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful Australian family to Beetle Rider today. Dad runs a gym back home — clearly a man who knows discipline — but when we asked where they were heading, he just grinned and said, "No idea, my wife decides." Honestly, that might be the wisest answer we've ever heard. The little one was all set in the stroller with a friend along for the adventure, and the whole crew rolled out into Kamakura ready for whatever the day had in store. We love when a family ride turns into a full story.

オーストラリアからご家族でBEETLE RIDERに立ち寄ってくれた。お父さんは本国でジムを経営しているそうで、なんとも頼もしい存在感。「今日どこ行くんですか？」と聞いてみたら、「わからない、妻が決めるから」とにっこり笑顔で返してくれた。その潔さ、最高にかっこいい。赤ちゃんはベビーカーに乗せてお友達が一緒に連れていくとのことで、みんなで鎌倉の風を感じながら出発していった。素敵な旅の思い出になりますように。

We welcomed a wonderful guest today who brought two visitors along to discover Kamakura together, weaving through ancient temple paths and coastal breezes that only this town can offer. Four friends from Hawaii rolled out with us today, pedaling toward the sea on a ride that felt like pure summer freedom. These students made their way to Japan on a well-deserved school holiday, and we were happy to send them off toward the ocean with the wind at their backs. The smile on their faces when the sea finally came into view said everything. Enjoy every second of this trip — you’ve earned the break!

ハワイからやってきた4人組の学生たち。学校のホリデーを使って日本へ遊びに来てくれた。今日はEバイクで一緒に海へと向かい、潮の香りが漂う道をのんびりと走ってくれた。海が目の前に広がった瞬間の笑顔が、とても眩しかった。旅の続きも、思いっきり楽しんでね。

We had the pleasure of spending a full day with this wonderful couple from New Zealand and Australia — and they made every hour count. Shrines, temples, the ocean... they truly did it all. Quick to pick up the local traffic rules and rocking our helmets like pros, they were the perfect duo for a day of two-wheeled exploration.
