Shaw continues to establish herself as one of the world’s best, both at club level and internationally, having played a key role in the Reggae Girlz’s historic FIFA World Cup appearances in 2019 and 2023.

She wants her achievements to serve as a source of hope for girls in her home country.

“I want to inspire young girls that it’s definitely possible. Once you believe, and have faith, and keep working hard, I think it’s possible. Even when I go home, I still try to inspire them and motivate them that it’s definitely possible,” Shaw said.

CONGRATULATIONS TO REIGNING HVFC 2025 Masters League Champions, who started the new season yesterday successfully with another Trophy and Title defeating Maverly -Hughenden by 5-0 in the 2026 Masters League 'Champion of Champions' Final.

Goal scorers are: Girvon Brown (2), Orville "Villa" Mullings, Ishtan, "Omar" Evans and Joel " Bounty" Nicholas one goal each.

Thompson’s eight subjects in 2026 took his CSEC tally to 10, after he picked up distinctions in electronic document preparation and management (EDPM) in grade nine and mathematics in grade 10.

The defender captained St George’s Under-16 team last year and is now a member of the school’s Manning Cup team. He has represented the “Light Blues” from the youth levels while also playing for Harbour View where he has captained the Under-15 and Under-17 teams.

Congratulations to our HVFC KSAFA Under 13 and 15 Teams who gained good results yesterday to register a Under 15 Victory by 5-1 and a 1-1 Draw at the Under 13 Competition.

Led by a Hatrick of Goals by our U15 Centre forward, Javaun Buckridge with a goal each from Nicholas Beckett Jnr. and Captain, Nathan Hudson. An Under 13 Goal from Midfielder Jeymar Edwards led the first half until Central Kingston FC rqualized in the second half.
