THE SPOCHAN KIDS è un progetto editoriale nato nel 2007 da cinque visionari che, chi appassionato di fumetti, chi di arti marziali e chi di ambedue le cose, si riuniscono per realizzare la storia di questo gruppo di ragazzi che praticano lo Sports Chanbara detto Spochan, sport giapponese che deriva dalle arti schermistiche sia asiatiche che occidentali. I personaggi principali sono Toshiro e Hikar
u e i loro avversari sportivi, Manabu, Itto e Masatoshi. Attraverso lo Spochan impareranno i principi del fondatore Tetsundo Tanabe: la competizione autogestita crea un nuovo tipo di mentalità sportiva, basato sul rispetto dell'avversario e il riconoscimento della sua bravura. Questo può aiutare ad abbattere le barriere ed accettare qualsiasi tipo di differenza. Infatti il tema conduttore dello Spochan è “THE HARMONY OF THE WORLD” l'armonia nel mondo . THE SPOCHAN KIDS is an editorial project born in 2007 by five visionary fans of comics and martial arts which create the story of this group of guys who practice Sports Chanbara said Spochan, Japanese sport that derives from arts fencing both Asian and Western. The main characters are Toshiro and Hikaru and their sport opponents Manabu, Itto and Masatoshi.
