Saucony brought the Endorphin Vizi Red. Mister Running ran gait analysis on the first 10 through the door. Everyone else pulled on a test pair and took them straight out onto Naples streets at full Wednesday pace.

100 runners. 100 test pairs. One of those nights you only get once.

Most people buy running shoes after ten steps on a shop carpet.

Last night in Vomero, Naples ran in them first.

Saucony brought the new Endorphin Vizi Red to . The Mister Running team ran gait analysis on the first 10 runners. Then the whole crew laced up test pairs and took them out on real Naples streets at full Wednesday pace.

Three weeks off. One Wednesday back.

Villa Floridiana, 20:00, and the gates were full before we said a word. Sprint work up Vomero, legs burning, then the whole crew spilling into aperitivo like no time had passed.

Naples doesn’t need a warm up. It needed a date.

That was the last pause we take. From here LACE runs all year, every city, no season off.

Before LACE, Wednesday was the night nothing happened in this city.

Now it is 100 people at the gates on Cimarosa at 20:00, the streets of Vomero under our feet, and a table somewhere after that nobody wants to leave. We never asked permission for any of it.

We took August off. Now we are back.
