Protein consumption is one of the main risk factors for IBD.

Sounds crazy when “eat more protein” is one of the most common things you hear.

The problem is, eating more protein will make your symptoms worse.

Reducing your protein intake, especially animal protein, is key to taking control of Colitis and Crohn’s for the rest of your life.

Yes, your body needs protein. But when we eat excess protein, this is when problems start.

Eating some protein provides the body with amino acids that are essential. But when too much is eaten, that’s when the problem starts. The endotoxins created by the microbes that feed off high protein and high fat? That’s why you have inflammation. That’s why your gut lining will be compromised.

The more protein you eat, the sicker you get.

Most people eat far too much protein. The guidelines recommend more, not less, which is why your IBD will still be sticking around. Until you flare up again. We know this goes against everything you have been told before.

But what you have been told is not helping you take control of IBD. It hasn’t been helping you get well.

Consuming more protein guarantees you are adding to the problem. You may not have seen it but we have over the last 14 years. You are not creating the right environment for your body to repair and heal.

You *must* eat less protein to take control of IBD.

When you do this? You automatically eat more of the foods that help the body to get rid of inflammation.

When you eat the foods that work for the body, you start to take control of your disease.

You can continue to focus on eating more protein and cause more issues.

Or, you can eat the foods that naturally allow your body to thrive - for good.

You’ve been told to eat more protein but the flare ups keep coming back. Book in a call with us (link in bio) and we will teach you why the real reason IBD is present in your life.

If you asked most people with IBD what they wish they’d known sooner, you might expect them to name a food. A supplement. A diet they stumbled across three years too late.

But that’s rarely the answer.

What we hear, again and again, is something quieter than that.

“I wish someone had just explained what my body was trying to tell me.”

Not handed them a protocol. Not given them a list of things to avoid. Actually sat with them and helped them understand what was happening inside their own body and why.

Because that’s the thing nobody does. Appointments move fast. Diagnoses get made. Treatment plans get handed over. And somewhere in all of that, the actual person, their specific patterns, their specific experience and the particular way this condition shows up in their life gets skipped over.

So they spend years collecting advice that was never really built for them. Years trying things that worked for someone else. Years feeling like they’re missing something obvious that everyone else seems to have figured out.

They weren’t missing effort. They were missing direction.

And the moment someone finally helped them understand what their body was actually responding to, not in general, but specifically for them, everything shifted. Not dramatically. Not overnight. But in the way that things shift when you finally stop moving in the wrong direction.

That’s where every journey at HCH begins. Not with a plan, but with understanding.

I think we can all agree that IBD is like that one toxic relationship you never asked for, right?

I mean, seriously, you didn’t swipe right on Crohn’s or Colitis.

You didn’t go out for a nice dinner and think, “Yeah, I’d love to spend every social outing for the next decade scouting for the nearest bathroom.”

No, it just showed up one day, unannounced, and it’s been the most clingy, controlling partner you’ve ever had.

And I mean clingy. It follows you everywhere. It tells you what you can wear (usually something with an elastic waistband). It ruins your vacation plans. It even decides when you’re allowed to sleep!

It’s basically the partner that looks through your phone, except instead of looking for texts, it’s looking for any excuse to send you running for the toilet.

The worst part? Your “relationship counselor”, the gastro, usually tells you there’s no way out. They tell you that you just have to “manage” this toxic partner for the rest of your life.

But we think differently. We realize that the reason this relationship is so toxic is because the environment is all wrong. When you keep putting fuel on the fire, by eating the wrong foods for you, it’s like you’re giving that toxic ex the keys to your house and a credit card!

It’s time to break up. It’s time to move on to a life beyond IBD.

Because, when you address the root cause and eat the right foods for your body, you’re finally setting boundaries. You’re telling your body, “I’m done with the drama and stress.”

And you know what? Your body wants this breakup as much as you do! It was never designed for this conflict; it was designed for peace and health.

Shamiz broke up with his IBD back in 2012, and he hasn’t looked back.

Since 2014, we’ve helped more than 1000 people go through the same “divorce” proceedings, and the results are life-changing.

We’re so confident that you can take control of your IBD journey that we offer a “pay only if it works for you” approach. We aren’t here for the drama; we’re here for the transformation.

So, are you ready to finally dump the digestive chaos and start a new, healthy relationship with your body?

You see the holiday photos.

The beach. The food. The smiling faces.

The caption about making memories.

What you don’t see is what happened before the photo was taken.
The forty minutes spent researching whether the restaurant had a bathroom close enough to the table. The meal that got skipped because nothing on the menu felt safe. The anxiety that started three days before the trip, not three hours into it. T

he moment on the second day when the symptoms showed up anyway, and the rest of the holiday became about managing that instead of actually being there.

You don’t see the backup clothes in the bag or the careful calculation of how long the journey between stops would take.

You don’t see the smile held together while the stomach did something that had no polite name for it in public.

Living with IBD doesn’t just affect your health. It quietly rewrites the way you experience everything else. Holidays, dinners and spontaneous plans.

The simple ability to say yes to something without running every possible outcome in your head first.

Most people with IBD accept this as part of the deal. The invisible tax on every good thing.

But the people who stop accepting it aren’t the ones who found better coping strategies. They’re the ones who finally understood what was actually driving their symptoms and built their lives around that understanding instead of around their condition.

Your plans should revolve around places. Not symptoms.

If you’re ready for that - book a consultation, link in bio.

There’s a message we receive more than almost any other.

“I was doing so well. I don’t know what happened.”

And the person sending it is genuinely confused. They weren’t reckless. They didn’t make one big decision that derailed everything. They didn’t stop caring or stop trying.

Things just... shifted. Quietly. Over a few weeks.

A few later nights that became the new normal. Meals at slightly different times because life got busier. A routine that slowly loosened because nothing bad happened when it did. Small things.

The kind you don’t notice, because none of them feel significant enough to notice.

And then the symptoms come back.

And because there’s no obvious cause, no single moment to point to, it feels random. Unfair, even. Like the body just decided to turn on itself for no reason.

But when we sit with someone and actually map what the weeks before looked like, it’s almost never random.

There’s a pattern. There’s always a pattern.

The body doesn’t overreact to one late night. It responds to what becomes consistent. And by the time the symptoms show up, the shift that caused them happened long before, back when everything still felt fine.

This is one of the most important things to understand about living with IBD. It isn’t always the dramatic moments that set you back. It’s the small changes that quietly stack up while you’re busy living your life.

Once you understand your specific patterns, what your body actually responds to and why, the guessing stops. And that changes everything.

The longer you follow the carnivore diet the harder and harder it becomes to digest foods containing fiber.

This is because when you follow the carnivore diet you eat zero fiber. And when you eat zero fibre you starve out the good bacteria that feed on fiber.

The carnivore diet makes you intolerant to fiber.

You end up feeding the exact bacteria that you don’t want in your gut.

This means that as soon as you try to introduce fiber into your diet again your gut has no idea what to do.

This causes absolute havoc in your digestive system.

Sure, while you are eating only meat things can feel okay. But is that what you really want?

Being terrified of fiber is not the solution.

And if you can’t eat fiber it means that your gut is not healthy.

It means that you have severe dysbiosis. Your microbiome is completely out of balance.

You will know when you are healed because you can eat as much fiber as you want and have perfect digestion.

When you work with us and hear your gut, you can eat all the foods you love without having any guilt or any digestive discomfort.

Pizza, pasta, Indian, Mexican, fruit smoothies, stir frys, potato chips… all of your favourite foods.

This is because your gut has truly healed and you do not have to restrict anymore.

You can eat all the foods or just meat, you choose.

Have you ever stopped to think about the absolute brilliance of the body?

When we look at how we were created, it’s glaringly obvious that God didn’t make a mistake. He gave our bodies an incredible, built-in intelligence, a divine blueprint for health that is constantly working to keep us in balance.

Think about it: when you get a small cut on your finger, you don’t have to tell your body what to do.

It just knows.

It sends the resources, it starts the repairs, and it closes the wound.

So why would we think the gut is any different?

The truth is, your body isn’t “broken.” It isn’t “attacking itself” without a reason.

Often, what we call IBD is actually the body’s intelligent response to a toxic and stressful diet and lifestyle. It’s trying to protect you, but we keep putting fuel on that fire, and eventually, the body gets overwhelmed.

If you’re a person of faith, you know that we were designed to thrive. You have a deep-seated belief that your body has the potential to return to health, and you’re right!

But, maybe you’ve been looking for the answer in a bottle of pills when the answer has been in the design all along.

Our work respects the intelligence God gave your body. We don’t try to outsmart it with chemicals that only provide temporary relief. Instead, we show you how to align your lifestyle with that original design.

Because when you eat the right food for you, there is no disease.

When you address the root cause, you aren’t just managing a condition, you’re respecting the masterpiece. You’re taking control of your IBD journey and opening the door to a life beyond IBD, where you can finally live out the purpose you were created for.

So, are you ready to stop fighting your body and start working with its natural wisdom?

We’re here to give you the answers you’ve been praying for. Click the link in our bio to book a call and let’s start your journey to a life beyond medication.

Most people teach temporary symptom relief - we don’t.

There is a big difference between following a protocol and getting less symptoms temporarily… and having a life beyond IBD.

This is why you’ve tried so much advice online and yet you’re still finding yourself stuck in the same position.

Many coaches will tell you about so many different things that worked for them.

Some will say to only eat animal products.
Others will tell you to avoid fruit.
Others swear by probiotics.
Some will tell you supplements are going to change everything.

And they aren’t purposefully trying to mislead you.

However there is a big difference between something that they did that worked temporarily to reduce symptoms… and something that will get rid of your problem for good.

Most people will sell you a diet plan that worked for them, and you might even find that as long as you follow it you see an improvement. You have less symptoms. You feel better… temporarily.

But the second you veer off it? The moment something changes?

You’re back where you began.

You thought you were on the right path. You thought you’d found the solution. But if things haven’t changed when you stop taking the pills and add in new food?

The solution was only ever a bandaid. The solution was designed to minimise symptoms… but it didn’t touch the root cause.

This is why you’re so confused. You get your hopes up when you see improvement, only to have them slashed just as fast.

The solution? Stop listening to people who tell you how to reduce symptoms and offer you bandaid solutions (who offer a life of food restriction rather than food freedom), and work with people who know how to help you take control of your IBD — for good. People who haven’t just found a way to help you with your symptoms… but who have helped thousands of people take control (with colonoscopy results to prove it).

This is what happens when you work with us. We aren’t going to offer you a quick fix. We’ll tell you exactly what you need to take control of your problem — for good. Message us to find out more.
