If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you- Fred Devito

17/07/2026

She fell for a classmate in college. He chose her best friend instead. That hurt!! But she did the hard, quiet work of accepting it, because her friend's happiness mattered to her.

Then her best friend cut her off completely because "he didn't like it."

Years later, she found out the two of them never even lasted. They broke up not long after.
But by then, the damage was done. She'd already decided friendship wasn't safe.

That trust was something people take from you the moment it's inconvenient for them. So she stopped handing her heart to anyone.. not fully, not again.

When she came to me, she wasn't looking for closure on an old relationship. She was looking for herself- the version of her that existed before she'd learned to protect her heart by keeping everyone slightly at arm's length.

We didn't start by revisiting the story. We started in Safety & Awareness:
✔️Helping her nervous system finally feel calm enough to even go near this memory without shutting down.
✔️Then, gently, we met the part of her that still believed she'd done something wrong just by loving someone, or by existing in a friendship at all.
✔️The real shift came in Releasing What Isn't Hers. That heartbreak, that betrayal- it happened to her, but the belief she built from it ("I can't trust anyone," "people will always choose themselves over me") was never actually true. It was a story her wound wrote for her.
✔️We released it, piece by piece, using somatic work and simple techniques like ho'oponopono.
✔️From there, we rebuilt her self-trust and her voice with simple daily tools, so she could open up to people again, not because it was "safe" now, but because she trusted herself to handle it either way.

Today, she has real, deep friendships again. She no longer hands her happiness over to what someone else chooses to do.

If an old heartbreak is still quietly running the way you love, trust, or show up for people, I help women untangle that, so their present doesn't keep paying for their past.

Not one of them said her own name. One said her mother. One said her kids. And in that moment, it hit me- this is where it all begins.

"Self-love isn't a trend or a soft, feel-good idea. It's the missing piece behind most of the anxiety, over-giving, and quiet exhaustion women carry every single day."

When my mentor told me this, it took me a hard time to understand what she meant actually. For years I felt being validated and called a 'good girl's is a virtue.

Healing changed my perspectives. When you never learn to turn that love inward, you spend your life earning your worth instead of simply knowing it. Ahh, that was a light-bulb moment when I realized.

But realising something and imbibing it's essence are two different things. You may know what is self-love but it takes effort and dedication to itegrate it into your life and see your life change inside out.

This is exactly what I help women heal through my RISE process.
•We start in Safety & Awareness- calming the nervous system with breath techniques.

•Then using a simple CTFAR process so you can finally see, in real time, what's actually happening beneath the surface. The thought driving the feeling. The feeling driving the reaction. For the first time, it's not a mystery anymore why challenges look like mountains and why it's so hard for you to resolve.

•From there, we meet the inner child who's still running the show, release what was never even hers to carry, and rebuild the self-trust and voice she lost somewhere along the way.
This is a deep stage where you start releasing what's consuming your energy.

•Finally, we integrate it all (give you some easy daiky-use tools)- so the healing doesn't just stay in our sessions, it becomes your everyday life.

What comes out the other side isn't just "feeling better." It's women who trust themselves again, feel confident in their own skin, and finally know peace.

Sometimes the deepest patterns aren't loud. They don't look like anger, anxiety, or conflict. They look like unfinished sentences.

Over time, many women become so used to focusing on everyone else's needs that speaking fully about themselves starts to feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. They don't disappear all at once. They disappear one unfinished sentence at a time.

Inside RISE, we gently uncover these hidden patterns, help regulate the nervous system, rebuild self-worth, and create the safety to finally take up space again.

If you noticed yourself in this carousel, maybe your healing doesn't begin by speaking louder. Maybe it begins by finishing one sentence about yourself.

DM me 'RISE' to begin your journey of coming back home to yourself.

I'm not just raising my child. I'm quietly healing the child I used to be, so she doesn't have to inherit what I did.

I met a woman who was always worried. She felt she was not doing justice to her motherhood. Deep down she felt guilty, burnt out and that she was a bad mother.

I helped her see that such thoughts are not toxic but the door to awareness. When a child does not listen even after repeated trying, the whole body feels like shutting down.

But it's normal to feel like this.

In the following sessions i guided her how she as a kid felt the same. Because the cycle repeats. What you say and your system learned, you repeat unconsciously.

This is why breaking the cycle helps to heal. You pause, you breathe, you sit next to your crying child instead of running.

That's what healing is. That one stay.

It's not about fixing yourself first and then become a good parent. It's about healing the little version of you that never received the love or understanding, which is actually running the show till now.

Everytime you choose differently with your little one you heal a part of you.

So next time when she spills the juice, take a pause, deep breath and say - 'Oops, let's clean it together.'

That's what breaking the cycle actually looks like, most days. Not a transformation. Just a sentence that stops right before it becomes hers too.

Some days may feel like nothing's changing. But it is in the constant interruption of your patternsbyiu choose to heal, you start to feel good with your choices.

No child wants a perfect mother. Because the word 'perfection' is not there in their dictionary. They want a mother who is emotionally available.

Disclaimer: I'm not a parenting coach. I help women, especially mothers who have lost trust in themselves so that they can create a life of self-worth, build self-confidence and live life with joy.

The biggest thing keeping people from healing isn't the toxic person in their life.

It's the belief that healing will begin after the other person changes.

I hear different stories every day.
A difficult marriage.
A controlling parent.
A toxic workplace.
Conflict with in-laws.
Financial stress.
Parenting struggles.

On the surface, every conversation looks different.
But underneath them all, I keep hearing the same sentence:
"They're the problem."

And I understand why.
When someone hurts you, disappoints you, or keeps crossing your boundaries, it's natural to focus on everything they're doing wrong.

I'm not saying their behavior is acceptable.
I'm saying your healing cannot depend on their willingness to change.

Because the moment your peace depends on someone else's behavior, you've unknowingly handed them the keys to your emotional life.

It's like standing outside a locked room, waiting for someone else to open the door, while the key has been in your own pocket all along.

The other person may never apologize.
They may never understand your pain.
They may never become the person you hoped they would be.

If your healing is waiting for that day, you're putting your life on hold.

That's why, in almost every consultation, I ask one simple question:
"What part of this is still in your hands?"
That question changes everything.
Because healing doesn't begin when the other person changes.

It begins when you stop measuring your peace by someone else's choices and start reclaiming the part of your life that has always been yours to shape.

That's where real freedom begins.

Share in comments your thoughts. And if you want to talk, DM me 'RISE'.

There are some words that stay with us for years.
We sing them as children. Then one day, life quietly teaches us what they really mean.

"I believe in the sun, even when it is not shining.
I believe in love, even when I cannot feel it."

This morning, while packing my child's lunch box, I found myself humming that song I used to sing during my school assembly prayers.

And suddenly, the words made sense.

Life is always changing.
One moment, everything feels hopeful. The next, you're navigating disappointment, loss, uncertainty, or heartbreak.

Sometimes the challenge feels too heavy. Sometimes you don't know how you'll get through another day.
And that's when many of us unknowingly begin to abandon ourselves.

We stop trusting our inner voice. We ignore what we need. We keep everyone else comfortable while silently carrying our own pain.

The truth is, what gets us through life's darkest moments isn't pretending everything is okay.
It's knowing that even when life feels uncertain, I won't leave myself behind.

That is self-trust. That is self-worth. That is the beginning of healing🪷

Inside RISE, I help women understand✔️why they learned to abandon themselves in the first place, ✔️heal the emotional wounds beneath those patterns,✔️ regulate their nervous system,✔️ rebuild self-trust, and ✔️create a life rooted in self-worth instead of survival.

Because even when the sun isn't shining...
You can still choose not to abandon yourself. 🤍

If you are done shrinking and living small, DM me 'RISE'.

Let's rebuild this beautiful journey together.

What if the reason you feel exhausted isn't life, it's how often you've stopped listening to yourself?

Many women don't lose themselves all at once.
It happens quietly. That's exactly what happened with my friend's mother.

Later she told me that her mother always kept quiet despite reeling under the pressure of domestic chores. No one helped and she never got the support of her husband as well.

So, a little silence here. A little compromise there. A boundary left unspoken. A feeling pushed aside. A need postponed until "later." Gradually it created a kind of resentment and bitter that comes like a tsunami destroying everything.

Her stormed out of the house one day, never coming back.

This is an eye-opener because it is quite common in Indian households where the woman is expected to endure everything with a smile.

However, the sad part is her silence doesn't just affect one person. It can ripple through marriages, families, and children.

When we stop listening to ourselves, we often become easier to overlook, easier to speak over, and easier for others to define.
Choosing yourself isn't about becoming selfish or putting others last.

It's about staying connected to your values, your voice, and your emotional wellbeing, so you can show up with greater clarity, strength, and love.

Inside RISE, we explore how these patterns begin, why they continue, and how to rebuild self-trust so you no longer have to lose yourself while caring for everyone else.

What's one small way you can listen to yourself today?

Do reflect. In case you feel you need to talk to someone, my DM's are open.

Recently, I heard my mother-in-law telling someone, "We have no other option but to accept. Lekin sab khush hai toh mein bhi khush hu. Aisa thik lagta hai" (A client told me what she heard her MIL saying to her friend over the phone.)

It made me pause and think how many of us are misinterpreting the deeper meaning of this line- Sab khush toh mein bhi khush hu.

There is definitely abundant happiness when our dear ones are happy around. But not losing yourself at the cost of others' happiness is something we need to consider and think about seriously.

Let's reflect on these questions- How many of us have quietly accepted situations, ignored our feelings, or adjusted so often that we no longer notice we're doing it? Silent suffering becomes normal before it's too late.

Many of these patterns don't begin in adulthood. They begin when our brain learns that staying quiet, pleasing others, or avoiding conflict feels safer than expressing our needs. These become our brain's survival strategies.

Over time, we stop asking, "What do I need?" and start asking, "What will keep everyone else happy?"

This isn't a character flaw. It's often a survival pattern.

Healing begins when we gently reconnect with ourselves, not by choosing ourselves over others, but by remembering that we belong in the equation too. ❤️

It starts through simple daily choices: ✔️pausing before saying "yes," ✔️listening to your feelings without guilt, ✔️expressing one honest need, or ✔️taking a few minutes just for yourself. These small moments and there are many such countless other choices you can make it your daily habit that may seem insignificant at first, but they slowly rebuild your connection with yourself.

Inside RISE, we explore the reasons for your survival patterns, regulate your nervous system, heal emotional wounds, and rebuild self-trust. So that you can respond from choices instead of survival.

Most people think self-abandonment looks like sacrificing your dreams.

Sometimes it looks much quieter than that.

💔It looks like swallowing your words because you're afraid speaking up will create conflict.
💔It looks like smiling while feeling humiliated.
💔It looks like convincing yourself, "Maybe I'm overreacting."
💔It looks like accepting disrespect because everyone says, "Just ignore it."

I once met a woman who found herself in exactly this situation.
Within days of her marriage, comments about her salary made her feel small. Later, during a disagreement with her husband, she was told that because she was married, she should always listen to her husband because she signed her husband's name as the guardian in any document paper.

Each incident hurt her deeply.
But what hurt even more was that her husband didn't say anything as if nothing happened and she felt only angry & helpless.

Over time, she stopped trusting her own emotions.
She stayed silent to keep the peace.
And let me tell you, many women do this.

Not because they're weak. But because somewhere along the way, they learned that keeping everyone else comfortable was safer than honouring themselves.

That is self-abandonment.

And the cost is high: • You lose confidence. • You stop trusting your intuition. • You constantly second-guess yourself. • You feel emotionally exhausted and confused. • You begin wondering whether your feelings are even valid.

Healing isn't about becoming rude or disrespectful🪷. It's about learning to respect yourself without losing your kindness.

Inside RISE, we gently uncover:
✔️ the beliefs and survival patterns that lead women to abandon themselves.✔️Together, we rebuild self-trust, ✔️strengthen emotional safety, ✔️create healthy boundaries, and ✔️help you find the courage to honour your own voice with confidence and compassion.

You don't abandon yourself all at once. Not overnight.
It happens quietly.

When you say "yes" even though your heart wants to say "no."
When you dismiss your feelings because everyone else's needs seem more important.
When you keep waiting for the "right time" to rest, to speak up, to pursue your dreams.

These moments may seem small, but repeated every day, they teach your mind that you don't matter.

Healing doesn't begin with one grand decision.
It begins with small daily acts of choosing yourself. So, next time when you feel guilty, overwhelmed, exhausted or invisible, check it out for the following:

✨ Pausing before saying yes. ✨ Drinking your tea while it's still warm. ✨ Taking five minutes to breathe without guilt. ✨ Speaking your truth kindly. ✨ Resting when your body asks for it. ✨ Asking yourself, "What do I need right now?" ✨ Keeping one promise you made to yourself today.
Every time you choose yourself with love instead of guilt, you rebuild self-trust.

And self-trust is how you stop abandoning yourself.

What's one small way you can choose yourself today?

If you're ready to stop living on autopilot and start choosing yourself with confidence and clarity, my 1:1 RISE coaching program is here to walk that journey with you.

Send me a message.
