As part of our CSR programme for FY 2026–27, we donated a GE ultra-portable, AI-enabled ultrasound machine to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (CSM) Hospital, Kalwa. The machine, designed for regional anaesthesia and vascular access, was inaugurated by our Subramanian P (centre left) in the presence of the hospital leadership team and BB representatives.

The anaesthesia machine we donated to the hospital last year, has already been used for over a 1000 surgeries! We are confident that this latest contribution will further strengthen surgical services at the hospital and improve healthcare access for communities in and around Airoli.

This week, we proudly commemorated 20 years of being listed on the National Stock Exchange NSE India — a milestone made even more meaningful as we celebrate our 80th year.

Hosted at the NSE headquarters in Mumbai, the ceremony brought together our leadership team, valued partners and distinguished guests. In his keynote address, our Executive Director, Shome Danani, reflected on our journey and the significance of completing two decades as a listed company, highlighting the resilience, prudent risk management and strong governance that have shaped our enduring legacy.

The ceremonial bell was rung by Shome Danani, and our Chief Financial Officer, Yogendra Agarwal, alongside the NSE team.

The occasion was a celebration of the people, values and purpose that have defined Bharat Bijlee since 1946. As we mark this milestone, we remain focused on shaping the future and creating long-term value for all our stakeholders.

To mark 80 years of Bharat Bijlee, we curated 'BB at 80: A Walk Through Time' — an exhibition that brought together eight decades of our journey through photographs, documents, advertisements, and memorabilia from our corporate archives.

Set up at our Airoli factory, the exhibition welcomed over 700 employees, alumni members and partners, who revisited moments that have shaped our story. As colleagues walked through the exhibits, many paused at familiar faces, remembered long-forgotten stories, and shared memories that sparked conversations across generations.

The exhibition served as a reminder that while industries evolve and technologies advance, the foundation of every enduring organisation remains its people and the trust they build over time.

A special mention to Past Perfect Heritage Management, who have painstakingly helped us build our corporate archives, and brought our legacy to life in such a meaningful way.

We would be delighted to receive contributions to the archives from those who have been associated with us over the years. If you have photographs, documents, stories, or memorabilia to share, please write to us at [email protected] and help us continue preserving our collective history.

Last week, we celebrated a significant milestone—80 years of Bharat Bijlee.

As we reflect on the occasion, we are reminded that our journey has been shaped by the trust of our customers, the support of our partners and stakeholders, and the dedication of generations of BB-ites who have contributed to our growth over the decades.

From powering India's industrial progress in the early years to serving evolving industries and infrastructure needs today, each chapter of our story has built on the foundation laid by those who came before us.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this remarkable journey.

What happens when you shift focus from what you can’t control to what you can? At a recent training session themed 'Beyond Boundaries', our Drives & Automation team explored exactly that!

Led by Brigadier Sushil Bhasin, the session introduced a powerful mindset shift, from the “No Control Zone” to the “Full Control Zone”, urging us to take ownership of our actions, responses, and energy. A key takeaway that resonated deeply: E + R = O (Event + Response = Outcome). While events may not always be in our hands, our responses are and they ultimately shape outcomes.

The session was a strong reminder that performance isn’t just about strategy or targets, but about mindset, ownership, and how we choose to show up every day.

We recently launched our 'Expert Lecture Series' in collaboration with leading engineering colleges in Mumbai, an initiative aimed at bringing industry insights directly into the classroom.

Sessions were delivered by our Vinay Patwardhan at Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering and Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Byju Gopalakrishnan at Shivajirao S Jondhale College of Engineering, and Madhavi Wadurkar at A. C. Patil College of Engineering.

By aligning the sessions with final-year curriculum, topics such as advanced motor technologies, EV applications, industrial automation and supply chain dynamics were covered, with the intent to bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice. Going forward, we hope that the series helps strengthen academia-industry partnerships and prepares students for the demands of the professional world.

Our CSR journey with Anubhuti Trust over the last four years has been truly enriching. Their work reaches young people from Nomadic & Denotified Tribes (NT-DNT) and other marginalised communities, often in geographies and contexts where access to education, career guidance, and institutional support is limited.

Through a combination of career leadership, mental health, and community-based interventions, the program has reached thousands of youth, parents, and community members. What stands out is not just the scale, but the depth: young people stepping into leadership roles, families reimagining education, and institutions becoming more inclusive.

This film, created for us by Harshal Gawali (Influence Avertising), captures some of these stories, voices, and moments that reflect the essence of their work. At its core, it brings to life the spirit of “We, The People of India”.

We take pride in our CSR partnership with Anubhuti - in building pathways where few exist. And are inspired by the people at the heart of this journey.

A special homecoming at Bharat Bijlee: We were honoured to welcome two stalwarts from our Motors Division — Mr. N. R. Hegde and Mr. Y. A. Dhengle — back to our plant, years after their retirement. From shaping the early years of motor manufacturing and design to leading with excellence, their contributions continue to inspire us.

As they walked through the plant and witnessed the progress made over the years, their words of encouragement and appreciation meant a great deal to our team. What stood out most was their pride in how far the Division has come, while staying true to the values they helped build.

Moments like these remind us that while technology evolves, the foundation of knowledge and dedication of people remains timeless.

We proudly celebrated the 55th National Safety Week bringing it to life at our workplace through our theme: Ek Sankalp. Ek Team. Ek Safe Workplace. The week was packed with activities, from safety quizzes, skits, rallies, and poster-making to engaging sessions that reinforced our commitment to safety at every level. With participation from over 900 employees, the response was truly inspiring.

Our teams also made a strong mark at inter-industry events organized by TBIA, DISH, and MARG Navi Mumbai—winning 1st Prize in Safety Skit, Safety Song, and Safety Poster, along with other accolades. A special highlight was our participation in a joint safety rally with 50+ companies, and our safety quiz team reaching the third round for the first time ever.

The celebrations concluded on a high note, with leaders and industry experts recognizing the dedication of our teams and appreciating BB’s unique approach to building a strong safety culture.
