The SGFI Volleyball Team has departed for China to participate in the ISF (International School Sport Federation) World School Volleyball Championship.

Led by International School Sport Federation President Mr. Zeljko Tanaskovic and SGFI President Shri Deepak Kumar, IAS, New Delhi and Education Minister of Delhi Government Shri. Ashish Sood witnessed a series of historic milestones—from the signing of the MoU to host the 1st-ever ISF World Championships in Badminton & Wrestling in 2027, to celebrating India’s first-ever medal at the ISF World School Volleyball Championship, and forging new pathways for 500 student-athletes through a landmark partnership with Alumni Connect India.
Together, these moments reaffirm a shared commitment to strengthening school sports and shaping the next generation of Indian champions.

The India U-15 Boys Volleyball Team made the nation proud with a bronze medal-winning performance at the World School Championships 2025.
SGFI was honoured to felicitate the players and coaching staff in recognition of their outstanding achievement, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Here’s to many more milestones ahead!
