Insulin resistance is much more than a Carbohydrate & sugar problem.
While a high-carb, high-sugar diet is a major contributor, hidden factors like visceral fat, fatty liver, low muscle mass, poor sleep, chronic stress, late-night eating, inflammation, hormones, genetics, and ageing also play a crucial role.
In this Reel, I have explained why focusing only on cutting sugar is not enough.
Learn how improving your diet and your lifestyle together, with more protein, regular exercise, better sleep, and stress management, can help restore insulin sensitivity and build long-term metabolic health.

🔥 109 Days. 14 kg Lighter. A Healthier Future Begins Today.
Transformation is not about starving yourself.
It is about repairing your metabolism.
This 42-year-old gentleman from Faridabad committed himself to my Metabolic Health RESET Program and followed a Low-Carb Healthy Fat (LCHF) nutrition and lifestyle protocol with consistency.
In just 109 days (21 April – 8 August 2026), here's what changed:
✅ Weight: 125 kg → 111 kg (–14 kg)
✅ Waist (at navel): 126 cm → 116 cm (–10 cm)
✅ Neck: 50 cm → 45 cm (–5 cm)
✅ Chest: Reduced by 7 cm
✅ Hip: 114 cm → 110 cm (–4 cm)
✅ Thigh: 68 cm → 64 cm (–4 cm)
✅ Body Fat: 33.74% → 31.09% (–2.65%)
The most encouraging change is the 10 cm reduction around the waist. This usually reflects a meaningful reduction in visceral fat, the dangerous fat surrounding the liver, pancreas, heart, and intestines.
As visceral fat reduces, the body often becomes more insulin sensitive, inflammation declines, liver health improves, blood pressure becomes easier to manage, and the long-term risk of Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease also comes down.
This transformation did not happen because of a magic pill or a crash diet.
It happened because of consistent nutrition, protein prioritisation, healthy fats, better sleep, hydration, movement, and patience.
Remember...
The goal is not simply to lose weight.
The goal is to reverse metabolic dysfunction and build a healthier body from the inside out.
Every kilogram lost is encouraging.
But every centimetre lost around the waist is a sign that your internal health is moving in the right direction.
If you're struggling with obesity, insulin resistance, fatty liver, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or metabolic syndrome, don't just treat the symptoms. Address the root cause.
Your metabolism can improve—one consistent day at a time.

Your current fasting insulin level of 7.54 µIU/mL :
is only slightly above the optimal range and, by itself, is not a cause for concern, especially if you do not have excess abdominal fat, high blood pressure, fatty liver, abnormal cholesterol levels, or other signs of metabolic dysfunction.
However, this is a good time to be proactive.
As we age, our ability to handle excess carbohydrates and sugar gradually declines. If a high-carbohydrate, high-sugar diet continues unchecked, fasting insulin can slowly increase over time without causing any obvious symptoms.
Persistently elevated insulin may eventually lead to insulin resistance, where your body's cells become less responsive to insulin.
This is commonly reflected by a HOMA-IR value above 1.5.
The good news is that maintaining a protein-rich diet, reducing refined carbohydrates and added sugars, staying physically active, and preserving a healthy waistline can help keep insulin levels within the optimal range and protect your long-term metabolic health.
Abdominal obesity is not just a cosmetic issue, it is a sign of poor metabolic health and can increase your risk of fatty liver, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
In this reel, I share 5 simple, science-backed steps to reduce stubborn belly fat by improving your nutrition, hydration, exercise, blood markers, and overall metabolism.
Follow these habits consistently for the next 6 months, and you'll not only lose belly fat but also build a healthier, stronger, and more energetic body.

🚨 The Hidden Cost of Keeping Your Fasting Insulin High.
Most people only look at their blood sugar. But fasting insulin often starts rising 10–15 years before diabetes is diagnosed.
High fasting insulin means your body is struggling to keep blood sugar under control. Over time, this "survival mechanism" comes at a heavy price.
💰 The cost of chronically high insulin:
🔸 Increased belly fat and weight gain
🔸 Fatty liver disease
🔸 High triglycerides & low HDL
🔸 High blood pressure
🔸 Increased inflammation
🔸 PCOS and hormonal imbalance in women
🔸 Higher risk of Type 2 diabetes
🔸 Greater risk of heart disease and stroke
The good news? 🌿
High insulin is not just a number, it is a metabolic signal. By reducing refined carbohydrates, prioritising protein, eating healthy fats, improving sleep, managing stress, healing your gut, and staying physically active, you can often improve insulin sensitivity and bring fasting insulin back toward its optimal range.
🎯 Don't wait for your HbA1c to rise. Check your fasting insulin. Find the root cause. Protect your metabolic health before disease develops.

Most people think only overweight people develop diabetes, fatty liver, and heart disease, but the real danger is visceral fat—the hidden fat around your organs.
Even with a normal BMI, you can have TOFI (Thin Outside, Fat Inside) and remain at high metabolic risk.
Learn why reducing visceral fat by improving insulin sensitivity, sleep, stress, nutrition, and physical activity is far more important than simply losing weight.

🎉 62 Years Young, Doctor Client & her 4 Months Incredible Progress!
Another inspiring transformation throught my Metabolic Health RESET Program. In just 4 months, she improved her blood sugar, HbA1c, insulin sensitivity, beta-cell function, liver enzymes, inflammation, ApoB, thyroid health, and Vitamin B12 levels. Most importantly, she has built a stronger metabolic foundation for long-term health.
Small, consistent lifestyle changes truly create life-changing results.
Age is never the barrier. The right education, nutrition, and consistency make all the difference.
Your body can heal—give it the right environment. 💚
Many people blame eggs or a high-protein diet for bloating, but the real problem is often a stomach that has become less efficient at digesting protein after years of a high-carb diet.
The good news is that your stomach is trainable. Start with small amounts of protein, increase gradually, and seek professional guidance if needed.
Don't give up on protein. It's one of the most important nutrients for healthy ageing, muscle strength, and long-term metabolic health.
Chai-Buiscuit & Diabetes:
Many people control their breakfast and lunch but unknowingly undo all their hard work with evening tea, biscuits, rusk, or namkeen.
Most so-called digestive, multigrain, oats, or sugar-free biscuits are still rich in refined flour and starch, causing blood sugar and insulin spikes.
Instead, choose a quick protein-rich snack like nuts, sprouts, boiled eggs, or paneer before your tea, and enjoy green tea, herbal tea, unsweetened black tea, or sugar-free milk tea.
This simple evening habit can improve insulin sensitivity, reduce cravings, and support better fasting blood sugar and long-term metabolic health.

Why weight-fat loss is difficult, when one has GUT issues?
Below is my interpretation, after consulting 50+ such cases in last two years.
✅An unhealthy gut, whether due to dysbiosis, chronic infection, or inflammation, can reduce nutrient absorption and create ongoing inflammation in the body.
✅This places the body under physiological stress and, in some people, may contribute to elevated cortisol.
✅Along with chronic inflammation, higher cortisol can worsen insulin resistance, making fat loss slower and more difficult despite eating well.
