I don’t test gear in a gym.

I took the Grisport trail shoes into the forests of Araku Valley — technical terrain, wet rock, loose trail, hours of dense undergrowth.

Here’s the honest field report:

Grip that made decisions before I did.
Waterproofing that embarrassed the terrain.
Ankle support so seamless you forget it’s there.
Laces that didn’t loosen. Not once. All day.

A great shoe doesn’t announce itself.
It just removes every excuse between you and the trail.

Today wasn’t a race. It was a fight.

Rain that didn’t stop. Fog that swallowed the trail. Slush on every step. And 200+ runners went up anyway. 🦅

🏆 To our podium finishers — same storm, same mud, and you still found another gear. Respect.

The mountain didn’t grade effort today. It graded conditions. And every single one of you showed up against both.
