We are proud to announce the successful ascent of Shinkun West by the GoClimbUp expedition team on 15 August 2026.

The summit was achieved by our professional mountaineering team, supported by experienced high-altitude mountaineers and an elite Sherpa team. Despite the demanding Himalayan environment, the team maintained strong discipline, technical precision and effective teamwork throughout the ascent.

Favourable weather conditions during the summit window provided a suitable opportunity for the final summit push.

Tomorrow, we move higher to Summit Camp, where we’ll prepare for the final summit push towards Shinkun West and Shinkun South.
