👉🏼 What was the biggest body-related change that shocked or surprised you during postpartum? Let us know in the comments. ❤️

Inthis beautiful episode on the fourth trimester, a survival guide to postpartum, I sit down with birth doula and childbirth educator Reba Daniel to discuss the many aspects of postpartum that couples need to equip themselves for, ideally during pregnancy, but at least in those first few weeks after childbirth.

In this small bite from the episode, I talk about some of the physical changes that can take us by surprise postpartum. But the full conversation goes much deeper, into the physical, emotional, relational and practical changes that come with this phase, and how couples can prepare themselves better for it.

My conversation with actor Vishak Nair went into some beautiful, unexpected territories, including male friendships and what it truly means to call someone a FRIEND

Maybe FRIEND isn’t a word we should use lightly for anybody and everybody.

Friendship is trust and mutual respect. It is the ability to share deeply, to cherish and value the relationship, and to talk about vulnerable things knowing you won’t be shamed or JUDGED. And perhaps one of the strongest signs of friendship is this: we don’t have to agree on everything to remain close. We can have different opinions, disagree openly, and still feel secure in the relationship.

Vishak also speaks to one of his friends on camera, and they share some incredibly vulnerable moments that beautifully demonstrate what such a friendship can look like. Such an interesting conversation on men, emotions, vulnerability, friendship and connection. ❤️

Postpartum is the phase nobody prepares you for… yet it's the phase that changes everything. ❤️

In this podcast, childbirth educator and birth doula Reba Daniel shares what a birth doula really does, beautiful real-life stories from the births she has supported, and practical insights that every expecting couple should know while preparing for childbirth.

We also dive deep into the fourth trimester (postpartum)- how partners can truly support each other, how families and society can make life easier for a new mother, and why supporting the mother is one of the greatest gifts you can give a newborn.

Filled with practical tips, mindset shifts, and both our personal experiences, this conversation is a complete postpartum survival guide for every expecting or new parent.

Greenforest men exist.
Here's 5 Minutes of Proof.

Yesterday, during a Breastfeeding Awareness Week program at a college, I spoke about secure masculinity, men who are comfortable expressing emotions, appreciating their partners, being vulnerable, and making the people around them feel emotionally safe.

I told the girls, "You may not know these psychological terms, but I think you already know what secure masculinity looks like."

Then I asked them, "Why do you think the recent Suriya-Jyothika interview is trending?"

The moment I asked, the entire auditorium shouted in unison...

"Green Forest Men!" 🌿😂

We all burst out laughing.
After the session, while having tea, several professors told me they had never even heard the terms green flag or green forest men. They were surprised that young people were having these conversations.
That made me realize how important it is to keep talking about this.

When women say they want to feel emotionally safe in a relationship, this is a part of what they mean.

Feeling appreciated. Feeling validated. Feeling seen.
And the same is true for men as well.

The clips in this video feature well-known faces simply because they're familiar to all of us. But there are countless nameless, faceless men around us who quietly love, appreciate and support their partners in exactly the same way.

This reel is for every young man who never had healthy examples of emotional vulnerability growing up.

Because appreciation isn't weakness.
Expressing love isn't weakness.
Speaking kindly about your partner isn't weakness.

This is what secure masculinity looks like. ❤️
What do you think?
Have you met or been a person who appreciated their partner?
What other popular face did i miss?

The Psychology of Commitment.

I sometimes wonder if one of the biggest reasons we struggle with commitment is the way we were conditioned growing up.
School taught us to think in terms of months, years, exams and finishing what we started. Somewhere along the way, commitment itself began to feel heavy. As though if we couldn't keep going till the end, we had failed.

But life doesn't happen in months.
It happens today.

Back in May, many of us committed to the 30-day list of interesting activities. When I repeated it in June, I barely managed five or six activities. I could have called it a failure.
Instead, I simply picked up the same list again in July. No guilt. No starting over. Just one day at a time.

This time, I completed more than 25 activities.

The same has been true for my morning sunshine routine, yoga, mindful eating and many other habits I've built before entering my 40s. They weren't created by committing to years. They were created by showing up today.

I still have a list of habits I'm working on too.

Maybe the question isn't, "Can I commit for six months?"

Maybe it's simply,

"Can I show up for myself today?"

Tomorrow, you choose again. ❤️

Ajay joined the program at his wife's request, just like many men initially do. But what unfolded over the next few months was truly beautiful to witness.

His participation, sincerity, & consistency stood out. On every call, he showed up with honesty and courage. He allowed himself to be vulnerable, sharing stories from his childhood, the struggles he faces as a man in the corporate world, and the many things he has been learning and unlearning along the way.

Watching him speak about his unschooling journey, his evolution as a father, and the immense love and respect he has for his wife gave all of us in the community a beautiful window into the life of a truly wonderful human being.
This is one of the biggest reasons I believe so deeply in group coaching. Beyond the content, people get the rare opportunity to witness other human beings growing, healing, questioning themselves, and transforming. We don't heal in isolation, we heal in connection. We learn from each other's stories, courage, and perspectives. At a time when loneliness has become so common, I genuinely believe community spaces are some of the most powerful places for healing and lasting change.

Wishing Ajay, his wonderful wife, and their precious child a life filled with love, growth, peace, and many beautiful memories together.

If you'd like to experience a journey like this for yourself, whether you're a man or a woman, my final Superhuman batch of the year is currently accepting enrollments.

The August cohort will remain open until mid-August, so you won't miss out on the program. Simply fill out the Google Form to schedule a 15-minute discovery call with my team. They'll help you understand how the program works and whether it's the right fit for you.

If you're preparing for pregnancy, or even if you're simply curious about what no one talks about after childbirth, this postpartum conversation is one of the most comprehensive discussions you can watch. Postpartum is often the most overlooked phase of a woman's life, even though it can be one of the most physically, emotionally, and psychologically transformative.

In this conversation, we explore what really happens after birth, how family and society influence a mother's experience, what you can plan for in advance, and practical ways to reduce the risk of challenges like postpartum depression. We also share our own postpartum journeys -the lessons, the struggles, and what we wish every new parent knew beforehand.

Joining me is Reba Daniel, my dear friend, mentor, and guide, who is also a birth doula and childbirth educator. Together, we've packed this conversation with the kind of information we wish every expecting couple had before welcoming a baby.

Do watch the video, and let us know your biggest takeaway in the comments. If you found it valuable, please like, share, and subscribe to the channel for more meaningful conversations like this.

Grief doesn't always look like tears. Sometimes it shows up as anger, emotional numbness, or hurting the people we love.

In this conversation, Vishak shares how he navigated grief, while I open up about how I spent years running away from my own.

A conversation on emotional intelligence, vulnerability, and healing that I hope stays with you.

The conversation with my cousin, actor Vishak, brought out so many important aspects of men's mental health.
One thing that stayed with me was his perspective on why men need their me time, play time, and strong male friendships. When life is filled with responsibility and constant productivity, these moments of play aren't a luxury, they're often how men regulate, reconnect, and release the stress they've been carrying.

Society has also conditioned many men to believe that their worth lies in constantly being useful, productive, and of service. While many men genuinely find purpose in providing and contributing, it's equally important that they have spaces where they don't have to perform, where they can simply be.
If this resonates with you, don't miss this conversation.

We also talk about relationships, spirituality, grief, emotional healing, and Vishak's personal journey.
