After 20 years of waiting we get a Silver medal. It's the happiest moment for every Indian. But so many questions were raised. Why we didn't get medals during the last Olympics and world championships? How many coaches are working in India? What is the action plan of the Indian Weightlifting Federation for the next Olympics? Through social media, I suggest to IWLF to the following actions may be required.
Conducting seminars for Coaches and Weightlifters for the development of weightlifting sport Knowledge.
Establish the Technical corrections Lab by using technology like Biomechanics motions through video analysis.
Supply the Weightlifting equipment to Schools, colleges, and Sports clubs on subsidy rates.
Create our own rules and regulations like Age groups and categories for the development of the sport.
Research for alternate methods and diet plans for each level of weightlifters (Boys& Girls, Men & Women) to avoid doping.
Encourage the long term plans
IWLF must take responsibility for National Level & International level Weightlifters Injuries treatment& rehabilitation.
State Associations must take responsibility for state-level Weightlifters Injuries treatment& rehabilitation.
To Encourage and attract children to the sport, IWLF must take steps to control the monopoly of District and State associations
