⚽ This month’s Spotlight goes to Daniel Hermetz 🙌🏻

Sometimes you join a team looking for a place to play.
And sometimes, you end up building one of your own.

When Daniel made Aliyah, he made it his mission to start playing soccer again. That’s how he found Tazuz and joined Schenim for the Spring Soccer League in Tel Aviv.

His first season quickly became more than just soccer.

“I felt like it was good to be a part of a team, especially Schenim.”

Schenim made it to the final after pushing through the semifinal on penalties, but for Daniel, the season meant more than what happened on the field.

“I felt like it gave me a lot of purpose after moving to a new country.”

After a first season he really enjoyed, Daniel knew he wasn’t done with Tazuz yet.

For the Summer Soccer League, he decided to take the next step: build a team of his own.

That’s how El Al Nassr was born. ⭐

“I wanted to start a team that would become a legacy in which we compete and grow over each tournament.”

And for Daniel, that means more than just creating a team for one league. He wants El Al Nassr to keep growing and become part of Tazuz seasons for years to come.

“I’m excited to see what the future holds for El Al Nassr.”

From joining a team to creating one, Daniel’s journey shows how one season can lead to something much bigger.
