So a lot of you know I love to get creative in the kitchen. I love seeing what arrives in my delivery and coming up with different ways I can combine the ingredients, while taking into consideration the likes and dislikes of the different members of my family. I try to make sure they all can have varied and healthy options.
But this post isn’t about cooking.
For about a year I have been working with a very special organization called איתן - כל אחד יכול Eitan - Everybody Can
I am matched with individual clients for one on one sessions, as well as groups. The ages range from 4-25!
Each person comes with their own history, abilities, self limiting beliefs.
Every day comes with its own moods, experiences, energy.
My job is to meet each client where they are on that day. Empower them to believe in themselves and their abilities, and push them beyond the limits they believed possible.
I take what I am given on any given day and make the absolute best out of it for them so they leave happy, energized and most of all believing in themselves.
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Meal in minutes!
Leftover brown rice heated in microwave.
Frozen Brussels sprouts in a pan with a bit of olive oil and salt.
Egg in the same pan after removing the Brussel sprouts.

Brussel sprouts...
Let me know if you love ‘em or hate ‘em!

I want to put all my clients at ease😊

My main concern is your health!

As long as exercise outside is allowed, I am continuing to meet my clients outside, at the park. I keep two meters distance and wear a mask.

During these times more than ever, exercise is of utmost importance!

Here are just some of the benefits of daily exercise:

💕promote your heart/vascular health
💕boost your immune function by activating the lymphatic system
💕release endorphins for a “feel good high” (goodness knows we all need more of that these days!)
💕maintain/build muscle and bone health and strength
💕control insulin levels

There are just so many reasons to make sure you are keeping active during these uncertain times.
Make this a priority for yourself!
And if you come to a session with me, know you can feel safe☺️

Did you know...
I’m also a certified aqua fitness instructor?
There are many benefits to exercise in water, which I will go into in another post.
For now, if you have a pool at home and want to try something new, fun, and safe, I am now offering one on one water fitness sessions.
Happy splashing❤️

Thoughts on how to meet each workout with a positive outlook:
Are you deeply motivated to workout every day? Probably not.
Are you deeply motivated to brush and floss twice a day? Probably not.
But most of you probably are taking good care of your oral hygiene even if you don’t wake up every day with a deeply driven motivation to do so.
You are not likely to wake up motivated to Take care of your physical health, and make it to your workout daily.
So how can you ensure that you will make it a priority, just like brushing your teeth?
Here are some key points to keep in mind:
💪🏻be dedicated, not motivated. When you are dedicated you show up even when you’re not in the mood. You do what you came to do, and you move on. Not every workout is going to be “perfect” but it doesn’t have to be! That brings me to my next point.
💪🏻be consistent. Show up. And show up again. And show up again. And again. Are you starting to get the idea? Keep showing up no matter what because consistency is the key to build the habit. It is also a key element in gaining in your abilities. Each time you show up you move a step forward.
💪🏻do it because you love yourself, and you want to be healthy. If you are punishing yourself through your workouts or your food habits, this is going to negatively impact your ability to progress and stay consistent. Eventually you will be done punishing. Eventually you will throw your hands up and say “no more!” Taking the time and effort to look after your health must be an act of love and compassion. Only then will you find the joy in the process, which will in turn motivate you to continue. But you’ll always have your dedication to fall back on should motivation fall short on a given day.

🌺I hope this gives you something to think about today.
If you need help staying dedicated and consistent, that is what I’m here for.
Reach out! I am taking a couple of new clients over the summer.

Salad topped with cut up leftover veggie burgers- they were so easy to make, and I made extra sweet potatoes and brown rice so that I can easily make some more during the week:)
