Muskerry Pony Club Muskerry Pony Club is a branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have sixty five members, aged eight to eighteen. We are run by a Committee of parents.

Muskerry Pony Club is a branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have approximately sixty members, aged eight to eighteen. We are run by a Committee of parents, headed by our two D.C.s Maire Kiernan and Lene Aksoy

The Committee usually meets once a month from October to June. An AGM is held in November which all families attend. We organise training in various equine disciplines e.g. Show Jumping, Cross Country, Dressage, Pony Games, and Road Safety. We also run preparation courses for all IPC tests from D to C+. We organise a show jumping league (Jumps Ahead) in May/June/July and a week long residential camp in July. We also have fun events such as Halloween and Christmas parties, and an annual outing without ponies, to enable our members to get to know each other. We enter members individually or in teams for many IPC events e.g. O.D.E.'s, Hunter Trials, Minimus, Tetrathlon, Robbie Bailey and John Ledingham competitions. Muskerry P.C. and seven other County Cork clubs form Area 5 of the Irish Pony Club.

****Change of Date***. are upcoming Horse Trials Ireland ODE & 2 Phase will now run on Saturday 26th September due to next weekend clashing with Hunter Trials and following Sunday has a Fun Ride. Entries are now open and will close midday the day before the event.

Also we will run another 2 Phase SJ & XC this coming Thursday afternoon/evening all classes from 70s through to 110cm.

Looking to get young or green horses out and about? 👀 Our "Happy Hackers" course means you can pick and choose any height fence you wish to jump on the hunter trial course! Fence heights range between 80cm - 110cm. No competition, no pressure and no timing ⏱️ Pop around at your own leisure 🙌🏼 Happy Hackers will begin at 10am 🕙

What a weekend at Tattersalls!

Our Three Musketeers, Ellie, Amy and Emily represented our pony club last weekend in the IPC National Eventing Championships and did us all proud.

From smiling faces after dressage tests, to clear SJ rounds and blazing around a challenging XC course the girls did it all!
