It’s exciting to see the inside of the new recreation centre take another major step towards completion of phase 1. Geraghty Structures are making great progress on the build with floor screed poured this week and with local volunteers working on electrics and plumbing.

Very soon, these pitches will be full of kids again as the new Kilshanvey United season gets underway. 💙🤍All summer, the community pitch has been busy with football too.❤️💚

The children filling these pitches this season will be the same children who will use the new Recreation Centre for changing, meeting, playing, socialising and making memories for years to come.

We are so close, but we urgently need to raise the remaining funds to get phase 1 of the Recreation Centre finished on time.

We are excited that phase 1 is nearly complete, the first two dressing rooms will be close to ready for the start of the new soccer season and the end of the football season. This has been made possible by loans, which, we now need to repay, so we ask the users of Fitz’s Field to support this fundraiser, and the greater community. We look forward to welcoming you to an information evening in the coming weeks to get feedback on broadening the use of the facility for all parishioners.
