The Half Monte is an adventure race in Mountcharles, County Donegal, covering a total distance of about 28.7 km across three legs.

CHALLENGE DOUBLE !!!

Well done to Genevieve Clarke and Matt Molloy on their respective categories in the Knockmedown Adventure Race.

Congratulations and well done to Avril Winters and Hilary Mangan who headed to Larne last Saturday for their latest endurance event. They took on the Antrim Coast Half marathon and finished in 2h02m

The Antrim Coast Half Marathon takes place along one of Europe’s most celebrated stretches of coastline, with cliffs at your shoulder and the Irish Sea opening out ahead.

At the Tara AC 5km on Friday evening Ronan Moore won the M40 category in 17.56, Pat Corcoran took thee honours in M60 with a 20.06 effort and Steven Nally crossed the line in 20.49

The Warriers Run was staged on Knocknaree from Strandhill Co Sligo over a 15km course. Enda Rochford took on the challenge and was very happy to post a time of 1h26m. In the "Knockmedown" Challenge Adventure Race both Genevieve and Matt Molloy won their respective age categories.

Well done to our runners who took part in the St Cocas 10 mile road race in Kilcock on Sunday 16 August. Many of the participants were using this race as part of their preparations for the Dublin City Marathon in just 10 weeks time.
Trim athletes came home with excellent age group placings. Eimear McGowan won the W40 grade in a superfast time of 64.45, Sean Murphy won the M50 in 55.58. In the M60 grade Pat Corcoran was 3rd man home as was David Hawcroft in the M70 category.

On Saturday morning the Frank Duffy 10 miler attracted over 3600 runners to the latest round of the Dublin Race series.

Ronan wins Rathkenny 5km with a run of 17.44 on Saturday afternoon.

He didn't "bring home the bacon" BUT
he brought home a fantastically healthy massive fruit and vegetable hamper.
Ronan won with his first sub 18 run of 2026.

Well done to all our runners who took part in the Castlepollard 5km. The hugely popular races begins on the square in the picturesque Westmeath village and bring runners around the grounds of Tullynally Castle for a fast flat finish near the firestation. North Westmeath AC are the organising club and it attracts a quality field every year.
