Upcoming events this weekend. Surf conditions are suitable to run another November surf session at 11.30 am tomorrow (Saturday). Book online and winter surfing gear and access to warm showers included in the price.

Breathing instructor Darren Roche will be running an Oxygen Advantage course tailored to the needs of surfers to help improve performance, open airways and improve focus. The course starts at 10 am tomorrow in the National Surf Centre. Contact for bookings.

And are running a beach clean up on Sunday at Strandhill Beach. Meet at the Cannon at 1 pm.

Said goodbye to this super group of Ocean Warriors on Friday. Starting another summer camp on Monday at 9 am. Only three more surf camps this summer season. So if you haven’t booked your surf camp with us this year yet, looking forward to seeing you this August at our new location in the National Surf Centre (book on our website www.sligosurfexperience.com).

Our summer camp is designed to bring out the inner Ocean Warrior in every participant regardless of ability with the help and expert guidance of Seamus Mc Goldrick and his friendly and engaging team of Sligo Surf Experience instructors. The aim of the Ocean Warrior surf camp is to change attitudes and behaviours towards the water and ensure that each student leaves with lifelong respect and awareness of the ocean. In addition to learning essential water safety knowledge, they will get lots of information about surfing in Sligo. Our surf camp program aims to develop confidence and social skills while creating a new sporting interest. The Ocean Warrior surf camp motto is: 'Respect All, Fear None, Have Fun.'

Autumn solstice has come and gone and there has still yet to be a fantastic swell this September. But October is just around the corner. Either way. Stay Salty.

On Saturday October 1st we are running another wellness event: an outdoor Surf & Turf experience with our friends at Knocknarea Farm!
Get hands on and down and dirty with a project on and after we will hike up Knocknarea learning all about the history of Queen Maeve. Enjoy a delicious Farm to Fork lunch back at the farm before a super fun surf session with Sligo Surf Experience at Strandhill Beach.
