Roscommon Community Athletics Track

Our new access road to the track site is almost complete thanks to Roscommon County Council for getting this done so quickly.

We should see further progress in the coming days, bringing us closer to making Roscommon Community Athletics Track a reality.

We may have been quiet online lately, but rest assured - there’s been plenty of work happening behind the scenes!

We were delighted to recently see diggers from Roscommon County Council on site working on the new road leading into the Sports Park - another exciting step towards turning the dream into reality.

As shown in the photo, the track will be located to the left of this new road. Progress is happening, and we’re looking forward to sharing more updates as the project continues!

RCAT draw exceeds target as winners announced Roscommon Community Athletics Track (RCAT) Committee have revealed the winners of their Win a Garden Room/Win a Kitchen fundraising draw, which took place in Lisnamult Sports Park recently. The prize of a stunning Garden Room valued at €65,000 and sponsored by local Roscommon business, Lidan, was

Congratulations to our two winners of our draw willing took place at a Lisnamult Community Sport Park on Monday evening, and was broadcast live on Facebook.
The winner of the Gardenroom from Lidan is Vanessa Moules from Co, Wicklow.
The winner of the bespoke Mark Lohan Kitchen is Daisy Deady from Co, Cork.

Both winners were delighted to accept their prizes and to support Roscommon Community Athletics Track. - big thank you to everyone who supported the draw and got behind this great initiative, to build Roscommon’s First Athletics Track
