Well done to all our members who competed in the Dublin Open Singles event today.

Siobhán O Sullivan picking up a silver medal 🥈 in a super strong ladies open division. Only losing to one of Irelands top players Thaila Rodrigues in the final, “Sully” is only playing 6m so Sky is the limit. .

Alan Fitzgerald continues his run of success with a hard fought silver medal 🥈 in the men’s over 50s final, another stacked category. The medal count is growing!

Well done to all the other members who competed well and gave it their best today - Mike, Katie, John, Cormac, Cathal and Emma. Two more days to go at the Open. The Blue & White of Naas will be on display again both Days. Best of luck all.

Happy Monday to the Naas Pickleballers! Delighted with our new Pickleball Lines, enjoyed by the lady members in our 3.00-3.50 intermediate session and the drills players this evening. One of the biggest challenges for Pickleball clubs around Ireland is finding good facilities to play in. We are lucky to have this hall with plenty of run off space at sidelines and baselines for players to enjoy the game safely and to the highest standards when it comes to space for pickleball courts (more than regulation space at baseline and sideline). The white lines on the dark grey is a great contrast too!

Gold medal 🥇 for Cormac & Jonah (Sandyford Pickleball Club) in the men’s 3.5 +

Silver Medal for Alan & Jordan (Sandyford Pickleball Club) men’s 4.0 +

Jimmy Dunne was very unlucky not to secure the bronze medal in the men’s 60 + with Ken Gibson (Balbriggan)

And Sabrina / Aoibheann unfortunately lost the QF.

Well done to all our members competing at this level after only 1yr of Pickleball in Naas.

Welcome to the team CHRISTIAN LAPITAN 💪⚪️🔵

Delighted to have Christian taking coaching sessions now at Naas Pickleball.

Christian is super player (DUPR 4.409) with high aspirations and he is now on his journey of becoming a super coach too. He recently began his PCI coaching course & he will be helping out with the drills and coaching classes at the club.

Christian has spent countless hours drilling every week since beginning his pickleball journey 2hrs ago and has now won gold in all three divisions on the Irish Circuit. He is playing regularly with the top players in Ireland and we look forward to learning from him.

The coaching sessions are currently for members only, Sunday mornings 9.00-12.00 and Monday evenings 7-9pm.

Fun Weekend Ahead!

2 Days of Pickleball across 5 divisions for the members and several guests competing too. We have a lot of medals 🎖️ and prizes on the line. A fantastic year to look back on as the people of Naas and surrounding areas signed up to learn a new sport, make new connections and find a fun way to exercise and compete! We look forward to seeing what the next 12months will brings us, hopefully a pickleball dedicated facility. Best of Luck to all!

Well done to Member John McCabe who secured a silver medal 🥈 in the men’s open singles tournament held at the dome , Terenure with .ie

John was been with Naas Pickleball since it started and has improved massively since the beginning, now one of the top players in the club.

He lost out on first place in a close final against another top player Ken Edgeworth , delighted for John to get a medal after all of his hard work, a dedicated athlete.

Well done to Katie Fitzgerald and Alan Fitzgerald winning silver today at the Connaught open 🥈. Super performance the whole way through against some great opposition, final could have went either way, This is their third medal together for 2026 and it’s only April. 👌⚪️🔵 keep up the good work!
