This time last year, while players across the football world were enjoying their summer break, the devastating news emerged from Spain that Diogo Jota and his brother, André, had tragically lost their lives in a car accident.

The football community was left in shock as teammates, supporters, and fans around the world tried to come to terms with such an unimaginable loss.

One year on, we remember Diogo and André with love and respect on the first anniversary of their passing. They will never be forgotten.
