Last night we welcomed St Brigids Gaels Gaelic for Mothers & others team from Ardagh for our first home game of the season. Despite the rain we had a great game.

Well done to our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team who played their first full match against Colmcille this evening.

Despite the rain, the spirits of both teams remained high, and there was fantastic camaraderie on display throughout the match. The ladies continue to improve week by week, developing their football skills, confidence, and teamwork.

A special thanks to Brian for his excellent coaching and continued support. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Colmcille Gaelic for Mothers & Others for hosting us and for the lovely refreshments afterwards.

We really had a ball and look forward to many more matches ahead!

We are exploring the development of a childcare service in Aughnacliffe to support local families and children. Our vision is to provide a full-day childcare service that takes a holistic approach to nurturing, supporting, and promoting the development and wellbeing of every child.

To help make this vision a reality, we are seeking your support. We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete the attached survey. The information gathered will provide essential evidence to help us engage with our local county council and potential investors as we seek support for this much-needed service.

We also plan to hold a public meeting in the coming weeks and hope you will be able to join us. At this meeting, we will discuss the proposal in more detail and establish a community committee to help drive this project forward.

Together, we can work towards creating an important service that will benefit the children and families of Aughnacliffe for years to come.
