On August 7, we head to Aberdeen, Scotland for the NEC with 6 teams competing across the Women’s, Men’s, and Mixed divisions.

Now it’s time to represent Sweden, compete with pride, and leave everything on the court.

Vi fick äran att få döma årets coolaste personalevent någonsin där närmare 200 spelare med representanter från 30+ olika länder.

Finalen spelades mellan Danmark 🇩🇰 och Kanada 🇨🇦 där Kanda tog hem en mycket ärlig och fenomenal seger! 🥇

Tack till alla Dodgeball Sweden Domare som ställde upp och gjorde detta möjligt. Vi hoppas att vi ses snart igen! 🎉

This past weekend our players from different citys around sweden put together a team and joined the tournament Vienna is calling🔥
Sweden was represented through the team Arctic Thunder through Mixed, Women and Men🇸🇪
We are proud of your accomplishment’s and love to see players working together creating new projects and playing more dodgeball 🔴✨

plays in and has been a national team player since 2018.
When free from dodgeball he works as a chef🧑‍🍳🥘
He enjoys refereeing and improves reffing quality in Sweden through his Diplomed ref course, which he also teaches✨

🎉 The foam training camp in Lund is a wrap and what a weekend it was!

A massive thank you to Öhrn, Aaron Ladestam, Adnan Khan Wazir, and Michael Johansson for everything you put into making this happen. Behind every great camp is a team working hard to bring it to life and you all delivered. 🙌

A very special shoutout to Léna Le Guilloux for helping us get the gyms set up and to LUGI Dodgeball l for being such amazing hosts this weekend. We felt at home! 💙

Thank you for everyone that travelled! It’s really amazing to see so many of you participating and growing our community.
We came in with a new format, open minds, and a lot of energy and the weekend delivered on every front. New connections were made, lessons were learned, and we got a much clearer picture of what this nation is capable of. The vibes were immaculate and every single person on that court brought something special. We are so proud of everyone who showed up and gave it their all. 🔥

Now the work continues behind the scenes. We will be going through the videos to conduct performance reviews and sending feedback to players who participated in the camp. Between mid and end of June we will be reaching out to players with positions for Worlds and Euros. 📋

But until then, do NOT stop. Keep training. Keep pushing. Keep performing. Rosters can change and the door is never fully closed. Your spot on the world’s biggest stage of dodgeball could still be waiting for you. Stay hungry. Stay ready. 💪🌍

Next up is Lisa Gilborne that is our Treasurer since 2025💰🥳 She plays in where she’s also been the president since 2022. Fun fact about Lisa is that when she’s not working or playing dodgeball she’s a firefighter in her local village🔥She also has competed in both puzzles and cheerleading🧩🏆

The new board for 2026/2027 was voted in about a month ago at our annual meeting🥳
We’re excited to kick off our new series, “Meet the Board.” First up is Markus Persson, the guy who brought Dodgeball to Sweden😃🇸🇪
He founded the first loose version of as the first dodgeball club in Sweden 2008 and has since then also co-founded as well as and where he is currently active.

A massive thank you to everyone who made the trip. To the crew from Denmark 🇩🇰, Malmo, and from Gothenburg, this tournament only exists because of people willing to travel for the sport. That means everything.

And to everyone who stepped up beyond just playing. Whether you grabbed a ref whistle, chased balls on retrieval duty, or just kept the vibe going — you are what makes this work. This tournament doesn’t happen without that collective effort.
