As our Intermediate Men made the trip to Emo Gaa Grounds,to take on Emo,in our final match of the group,with glorious weather,what more could 1 ask for you

1st Inning and St.Senan's were 1st to bat,and we managed to rack up 4 runs,and with Emo into bat,

2nd and we managed to add on few more runs,and with Emo into bat,with up our fielding and bowler was on form with his bowling,firing them into our backstop ,as we held Emo scoreless.

3rd Inning and again we added a few more runs,with Emo into bat,they landed a few big hits before we caught them out,with our backstop throwing a few balls to our fielder on 1st base to get the Emo batters out and our fielder also caught a sliced ball from 1 of the Emo batters.

4th Inning ,we tagged on a few more runs to stay within touching distance of Emo,
Emo up to bat and again our bowler/backstop combination and some great fielding and a fine catches from our outfielers we held Emo scoreless

5th Inning,we pegged on a few runs to in front,with Emo coming in for their final bat,we knew if we could get them out quick it would be a great victory,but Emo managed to get 2 run in and no-one out,the game was nicely poised at 14-14

Final Result 14-14,which proved enough in the end for St.Senan's Gaa Rounders Mens Intermediate team to progress to the Semi-Finals

Is the turn of Our Intermediate Men's this Sunday,who travel to Portlaois to take on Emo,in their final game of the group,

What a great evening for rounders match last nite in Coolcappa,between St.Kieran's and St.Senan's Gaa Rounders
Weather was perfect and the pitch was in great condition

St.Kieran's won the toss and elected to field 1st,
So up stepped our Ladies and hit some nice shots,and ran up 5 runs and now it was the turn of St.Kieran's to bat,and Our Ladies fielded with class,with Dympna O'Brien catching the 1st high ball,that came her way,with ease,and Our Ladies held St.Kieran's scoreless for the 1st inning

2nd inning and Our Ladies ran up a few more runs to extend their lead,but the was all about their fielding,with our bowler Louise Kelly ,firing them in hot and fast,some of the balls spun off the bats up in the air and our Backstop Dorothy Moroney on hand to pluck them out of the air,
St.Keirans managed to get 1 run in before Our Ladies got 3 out.

Top of the 3rd and again our Ladies continued to extend their lead with some batting and base by base running.
Back into field,our superb bowler/backstop combination of Louise/Dorothy for the evening continued as they got 3 out quickly,
Safe to say Louise wasn't hanging around tonite,as she fired them balls into the St.Kieran's batters

Onto the 4th inning and Our Ladies had now extended their Lead to 17-1,with more composed batting and running,
Our fielders finally got a chance to showcase their talents with some fine catches,with the sun in their eyes,super catches from Eimear,Dympna

Into the 5th and final inning,
Our Ladies,kept doing what they started doing and got 3 out quick fast.

Our Ladies now moved on a Quater-Final match against Myshall on the 25th July in Dublin

Also best of Luck to St.Kieran's, who also qualified for the Quater-Finals
