NoeleenTyrrell Yoga Hi, I’m Noeleen, a certified Anusara Yoga teacher, trainer, therapist, and coach.

🌟 Don't miss out on my upcoming events! tinyurl.com/noeleentyrrell

I’m honoured to be the founder of Ard Nahoo Yoga School in Ireland, where I’m devoted to yoga education and supporting the growth of my students. With over 30 years of experience in yoga and natural health, I’ve been fortunate to train in the US, UK, Europe, and Ireland. I’m a Certified Yoga Therapist with IAYT and also hold certifications in massage and craniosacral therapy. My teaching style is intuitive, helping students experience meaningful transformations and health benefits. I’ve had the privilege of training many wonderful yoga teachers and, as a coach, I aim to assist others in finding their own paths and wisdom. My journey with yoga began in Rush, Co. Dublin, but it was in San Francisco that I truly fell in love with the practice. Yoga has been a grounding force for me, aiding in various life challenges like back problems, home births, and managing a busy clinic and studio. I initially practised Iyengar Yoga, but discovering Anusara Yoga in 2010 was a turning point that profoundly shaped my practice and teaching. I’m deeply grateful to all my teachers and continue to learn and grow. In 2001, I founded Ard Nahoo Eco Retreat in County Leitrim, which received global recognition as one of the top retreats. In 2022, I decided to move on from the eco retreat, and now Ard Nahoo Yoga School travels with me, offering retreats, workshops, and trainings both locally and internationally.

What if you took a weekend to step away from teaching, look at your practice with fresh eyes and explore what sits underneath the way you teach?

The second Teacher Tune Up Weekend brings together alignment, philosophy and sequencing, exploring how the principles of Anusara can support more intelligent and intentional teaching.

We’ll explore Spirals, Ta***ic Philosophy, the ethics of teaching, Energetic Loops, sequencing and the two main flows of consciousness, with plenty of space to question, explore and connect the principles to your actual teaching.

7–8 November 2026
Align Yoga Studio, Cavan
You can join for the full weekend or come for one day.

If you're ready to step out of the usual teaching routine and spend some time exploring the bigger picture, I’d love to have you with us.

Our bodies change. Our strength, mobility, balance and needs change too.

And as yoga teachers, we have an opportunity to adapt our teaching so that it continues to support people through every stage of life.

YogaWise | Yoga for Healthy Ageing is a two day training exploring how we can use the practices of yoga to support both physical and mental wellbeing as we age.

Together, we'll look at how to create yoga sessions that are safe, challenging, effective and empowering, while addressing some of the physical and mental changes associated with ageing.

The aim is not to make yoga easier. It's to make it more appropriate, more considered and more useful for the people we teach.

26–27 September 2026ie, Strandhill, Sligo
9.30am–5.30pm

Only 4 days to go.

If you're a yoga teacher interested in teaching in a way that supports strength, confidence and wellbeing across the lifespan, there are still spaces available.

There’s lots happening over the coming months, with opportunities to practise, learn, deepen your understanding and spend time with some wonderful people.

From yoga classes and workshops to teacher training and Teacher Tune Up weekends, there are plenty of ways to come together, whether you’re practising for yourself or continuing to grow as a teacher.

One of the things I value most about these gatherings is the opportunity to step out of our usual routines, spend time together and explore something a little more deeply.

More events and details can be found on noeleentyrrell.com

I’d love to see you at one of them.

We don't always learn by being given the answer.

One of the things I love most about teaching teachers is what happens when we get a group of experienced practitioners into the same room and start exploring something together.

Someone asks a question. Someone else sees it differently. We practise, we teach, we observe, we laugh, we get curious.

And somewhere in that process, the collective experience in the room becomes tangible.

Something that felt complicated begins to make sense.

Perhaps that's one of the most valuable parts of continuing to learn as a teacher.

Not simply adding more information, but having the opportunity to explore, question and see things from another perspective.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Teacher Tune Up Weekend | Seeing the Bigger Picture

The second Teacher Tune Up Weekend moves into the relationship between alignment, philosophy and the architecture of a class.

How do the principles of Anusara Yoga actually inform the choices we make as teachers?

Over the weekend, we’ll explore:

Saturday | Principles & Perspective
Spirals
Ta***ic Philosophy: The Guiding Light
The Ethics of a High Integrity Teacher

Sunday | From Principles to Practice
Energetic Loops
Sequencing
The Two Main Flows of Consciousness

A weekend to look at the bigger picture, question how and why we teach, and bring greater intelligence and purpose to our classes.

7th & 8th November

You can join for the full weekend or book either Saturday or Sunday as a standalone day, depending on what works for you.

For yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding, refine their teaching and reconnect with the principles behind their practice.

We’re living longer.

The more interesting question is how well we want to live those extra years.

As yoga teachers, how can we adapt our teaching to support strength, mobility, balance and wellbeing as we age?

YogaWise | Yoga for Healthy Ageing is a two day teacher training exploring how we can use yoga to support people to age with greater strength, confidence and vitality.

We’ll look at how we can make our teaching safe, challenging, effective and empowering for older and not so old students, while considering the physical and mental changes that come with ageing.

RETURN TO THE SOURCE

An Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Retreat for All Teachers & Practitioners

In March 2027, I’ll be gathering us somewhere warm and beautiful for a very special week of Anusara Yoga, learning, practice and community.

The location is still being found somewhere in Spain, Portugal or, if the stars align, the Canary Islands. So for now, think sunshine, spaciousness, deep practice and a week dedicated to returning to what nourishes and inspires us.

This week will be the final residential week of the 100-hour Anusara Yoga Teacher Training and I’m delighted to open this training to all teachers who want to grow and shine. Learning is supported and deepened in the cocoon of the retreat environment.

The focus will be on up-skilling and refining the essential skills of teaching Anusara Yoga, including:

🌿 Universal Principles of Alignment
🌿 Biomechanics and intelligent, effective application
🌿 Sequencing
🌿 Teaching with a Theme
🌿 Voice and language
🌿 The art and skill of teaching asana
🌿 Developing greater confidence, clarity and creativity as a teacher

There will be morning practices with me, along with a variety of classes, workshops and teaching sessions with the wider teaching team throughout the week.

And while the teacher training will be at the heart of the retreat, you don’t have to be a teacher to join us.

Yoga practitioners who simply want to immerse themselves in a week of beautiful practice, learning and community will be welcome to participate in the morning practices and selected classes and offerings throughout the week.

I’m imagining this week as a kind of return to the source, a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter the nourishing space of practice and learning again.

A place to pause.
To receive.
To explore.
To deepen our skills.
To remember what we love about teaching and practising yoga.

And perhaps, like emerging from a womb, to come out the other side renewed, nourished, inspired, more confident and ready for whatever comes next.
