🌟 HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF OUR CLUB – FIRST OPEN MEETING 🌟

We are delighted to announce the first meeting in the development of our club’s new Five-Year Strategic Plan for 2027–2031, building on the foundations of our current 2022–2026 strategy.

This is an open meeting for all members of our club: coaches, parents, players, volunteers and supporters. If you care about the future of our club, we want to hear from you.

The first meeting will be an information and introductory session, outlining how the Five-Year Plan process will work and how everyone can contribute.

The strategic planning process will take place between September and end of November this year, with a series of sessions giving everyone the opportunity to have their say and help shape the direction of our club for the next five years.

The process will take place under the guidance of Michael McGeehin from Sport Ireland, who will help us work together to develop a clear and ambitious vision for the club’s future.

Congratulations to our U15 hurlers on their hard-fought win this evening in the U15 Hurling Championship Shield Final vs. Coolera!
​After a tense and exciting game of hurling, it went all the way to extra time. Down by 7 points at half-time, Molaise staged a magnificent comeback, snatching a goal in the dying moments of normal time to force extra time. They carried that momentum straight into the extra period, ultimately running out 5-13 to 3-11 winners.
​A thoroughly well-deserved win for a brilliant, dedicated group of lads who never gave up.

Many thanks to Ed and all the team at Moran's Bar, Takeaway & B&B Grange for the great food and hospitality, as always, and for their valued support as a major sponsor of Naomh Molaise Gaels.

The final hurling training session of the season took place on Thursday evening, and the coaches wanted to say a big thank you to all the boys for their commitment throughout the year. We hope they all enjoyed the season.

Thanks also to all the parents for bringing the boys to training sessions and blitzes throughout the year.

Best of luck to the 2015s as they move up to U13 hurling next year.

The boys enjoyed a well-deserved treat after training, with some tasty pizzas from Moran's Bar, Takeaway & B&B Grange.

The pizzas were kindly sponsored by Donohue Auto Works, GMP Gardens and Castlegal Architectural Services.

🟢⚪ CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL WEEKEND ⚪🟢

A big weekend lies ahead for the club, with two championship semi-finals in two days as both our Junior A and Senior teams look to book their places in county finals.

First up on Saturday evening, our Junior A footballers face St Michael’s in the Sligo Park Hotel Junior A Football Championship Semi-Final.

Saturday 19th September, 5.00pm
Corran Park, Ballymote

Then on Sunday, attention turns to Markievicz Park and the Homeland & Connacht Gold Senior Football Championship Semi-Finals.

Our Senior team take on Shamrock Gaels at 3.30pm, in the second game of a semi-final double header. Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and St Mary’s meet in the opening semi-final at 1.30pm, before we play Shamrock Gaels for the second place in the 2026 County Final.
