Professora Kelly Hassell-Cramer, a 3rd-degree black belt under Charles Gracie, who has dedicated years to helping people develop and discover their potential through Jiu-Jitsu.
Kelly is also a school owner and head instructor, leading a kids-focused Jiu-Jitsu academy alongside her husband, with a focus on individual development, safety and long-term growth. She has 25+ years of experience coaching children across behaviour modification, therapeutic recreation and competitive sport.
Kelly and her husband developed the AIM — Adaptive Integrative Methodology approach, using an understanding of body mechanics, movement and individual learning styles to make both fundamental and advanced Jiu-Jitsu clear and accessible to every student.
She particularly enjoys teaching half-guard, sweeps and transitions, believing that while positions can be memorised, it’s the transitions that allow each person to truly personalise their Jiu-Jitsu.
We’re delighted to have Kelly joining us at BJJ Gort on 3rd October and can’t wait to learn from her! 🥋❤️
