⭐ Ár Réaltaí Beaga – Our Little Stars ⭐

Behind every GAA club are families carrying losses that many never see. No family should feel alone in their grief, and no little star should ever be forgotten.

Ár Réaltaí Beaga is a beautiful permanent remembrance tribute in Croke Park, honouring babies and young children from GAA clubs across Ireland who died too soon.

There is no cost or obligation to take part. The hope is simply that every family who may find comfort in this tribute knows that the opportunity exists.

We are proud to help share this important message and encourage our members to spread the word. A simple share could help a family learn that their precious child can be remembered and forever included as part of our GAA family.

Together, we can make sure that no little star is ever forgotten.

What a day in the Sportsfield in Geevagh GAA Club . Over 60 kids took part in the go games blitz this afternoon.
Rathcoffey GAA Club and Shamrock Gaels were the visitors today. All 3 teams provided huge amounts of entertainment scores and skills. 12 games played all in good spirits .
The ice-cream man popped in to give the kids a well deserved break.
The afternoon concluded with refreshments in the resource centre afterwards.
Rathcoffey presented both clubs with a token of remembrance . This day will be remembered by the kids for a long time.
Big thanks to all the coaches parents and club members who made today possible.

On Saturday the 19th of September one of of past senior players returns to the Sportsfield. This time he will be on the sideline.
David Byrne will bring his Rathcoffey GAA Club u11s to take part in a blitz with Shamrock Gaels and Geevagh.
This promises to be a great display of skills and scores.
First game throws up .
The resource centre will be open from 7.30 to 8pm this evening for anyone who wishes to drop any refreshments for the blitz .

Castleconnor GAA 1.13 (16).

A battle royale in Ballintogher saw our lads emerge victorious to maintain their good form so far in this years Championship.
Playing into a stiff breeze our Lads trailed by 1.06 to 0.10 at the half time break.
It took our Lads ten minutes to settle into the game, second half, with our opponents dominated large periods of it.
A Callum Brady goal settled our Lads nerves and they powered on to record a deserved win on the night.

Next up is an away tie with Calry St Joseph's on Thursday night next.
