Castlegar GAA Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser 2017. Strictly Come Dancing will take place in the Radisson Hotel Galway on the 18th of February 2017.
Castlegar Hurling and Camogie clubs are joining forces in organsing a massive fundraiser to aid the development of our sports arena. Members of our local community as well as members from our hurling and camogie panels will battle it out in the hope of becoming Castlegar's Strictly Come Dancing King and Queen and taking home the prestigious prize. Tickets will be on sale for €20 and will be availa

We had the most amazing night last night. We are so proud of our wonderful dancers who were just unreal. Thanks to the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway, for looking after us so well. Congratulations to our winners Orlaith Keane and Gerry Coyne, though there were no winner in our eyes; all our dancers deserved to win,

The dress rehearsals are over, the dancers are asleep (some of them) and the stage is nearly set for our Strictly Come Dancing tomorrow night in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway Remember to arrive early, doors open at 7pm and doors will be closing at 7:50pm sharp for a 8pm start.
With the great buzz that's going around for the Strictly on Saturday night, we are really disappointed to be missing one of our committee members who has been with us since our first meeting way back in November 2016. We're all thinking of Martin Connolly as he is recuperating in hospital. Wishing you a speedy recovery Martin, we'll keep the updates flowing on the night.
If this was a Broadway show we'd be looking at a second night but I don't think the dancers would agree to it!! The Dancers are all set, sound checks and rehearsals (behind closed doors) are on in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway tomorrow evening. There are a very limited number of tickets remaining. They are available from Mcgreals Craft Butchers & Mace Supermarket and from committee members, Elaine Murphy, Karen Murphy, Ruth Flaherty, Owen Teagle and Pat Malone.
