🍀 Full Time | U14.3 DDSL Saturday

Our U14s travelled to Coolmine this morning to take on Verona in their 3rd league game of the season. While they played well and had many chances they found themselves one down at half time.

The second half McKelvey came out flying and Bobby Barker slammed home an equalizer after good work from Darragh Smyth. McKelvey then went 2-1 up when Jamie O'Brien curled home a beautiful free kick from the edge of the box. Sean Dennis added 2 more with smart finishes to put the game out of sight and take the 3pts back to Finglas.

McKelvey Celtic Football Academy is Back!

We are looking forward to welcoming new Little Celts!

Give your child the perfect start to their football journey with McKelvey Celtic FC and KL Football.

Boys & Girls | Ages 4–7

📍 Location: McKelvey Celtic FC

🗓️ Starts: Wednesday 9th September

🕔 Time: 5:00 PM

💚 10-week block: €50

Our academy is all about fun, learning new skills, making friends, and progressing into a McKelvey Celtic team football as a Little Celt.

A game of 2 halves in this one as McKelvey were on top in the first and took a 1 nil lead in at half time but St Josephs produced a strong second half to fight back and take the 3 points.

Our goal came from a well worked move which Sean Dennis finished off nicely in the 5th minute.

Lessons learned as they move on to their next game against Castleknock Celtic on Monday night.

FULL TIME | Swords Manor 2–2 McKelvey Celtic

A well-earned point on the road for our Women's side as we remain unbeaten in all 12 EWFL League 2 matches this season. In truth, unlucky not to take all 3 points.

Ellen Canny fired us level on 30 minutes before Caoimhe Woods put us ahead with a superb finish in the 72nd minute.

We looked set to take all three points, but a very good Swords Manor side found a late equaliser in the 90th minute.

Plenty of positives to take from another resilient performance, and we go again this weekend.

🍀 Full Time | U14.3 DDSL Saturday

A superb away performance from our U14.3 side saw McKelvey Celtic come away from Kennedy's Field with a deserved 3–2 victory over Knocklyon United.

Goals from Jaden Brennan (15'), Sean Dennis (38') and Bobby Barker (43') gave the Celts a commanding lead before Knocklyon rallied with two late goals.

The lads showed great character to see the game out and secure all three points.

A good win on the road for our Sunday side.

Plenty of positives to build on! A good shift put in by the entire squad.
Missing some players this evening and great to see the strength in depth with lads stepping up and performing very well.
