Ennis Masters Swimming is the masters swimming branch of Ennis Swimming and LifeSaving Club. Our hours are currently Tuesdays and Fridays from 8.45pm until 9.45pm. The swimming season starts at the end of September and runs until the end of May. We cater for all swimming levels and are delighted to receive new members! Norma hardly left a medal for anyone else. An incredible 5 golds at the European Masters Swimming champs in the pool and open water. Congrats also to Sinead Mortell on her multiple too 10 finishes in the pool and and top 20 finish in the open water, and Dot for her top 10 finishes in the pool.๐ฅ๐ช๐ป๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ

Congratulations to Shannon based Winchman-paramedic Jim O'Neill and the crew of Rescue 115, who won the "Bravery and Courage Award" at the inaugural Ireland Blue Light Awards. The story behind the rescue of the 14 fishermen from the French-registered vessel Fastnet, which ran aground on the rocks at Bรญnn Bรกn near Di**le in December 2025 will be discussed tomorrow (Monday 17th) on the Oliver Callan Radio Show on RTE Radio 1

A huge congratulations to Ennis Masters swimmer Norma Cahill, who broke the European 400m Freestyle Record (60-64 age group) with a split of 5:03.56 during this morning's 800m Freestyle at the Swim Ireland Masters International.
Norma eclipsed the previous record of 5:03.98, set in 2025, in a fantastic performance. ๐๐ฅ

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Malbay swim today in beautiful conditions (bar the jellies! ๐ชผ) Thanks to everyone for coming along and well done on some great swimming.
