Looking for a fun and active night out? Join us for two hours of social volleyball—meet new people, get some exercise and enjoy plenty of laughs!

📅 Every Tuesday
⏰ 8–10 pm
📍 Dunmanway Community Sports Hall
💶 €8 per session—pay as you go

No commitment and no experience necessary—everyone is welcome!

Places are limited to 14 players, so please book by the day before. Once we reach 14 people, booking will close.

JAZZ SETTERS – Bringing Volleyball to Ballydehob! 🎷

One of our goals at West Cork Volleyball CLG is to make volleyball accessible to more young people across West Cork — not just in the areas where the sport is already growing.

We wanted to bring something to the Ballydehob, Schull, Goleen and greater Skibbereen area, giving children and teenagers on this side of West Cork the chance to discover volleyball too.

That’s why we created Jazz Setters Ballydehob! 💚

This 6-week introductory programme is also a chance for us to see how much interest there is locally. If the community gets behind it and enough young people want to continue, we hope this can be the beginning of something more permanent in Ballydehob.

📅 Starting 14th September
🏐 Mondays – U13s | 4:00–5:30pm
🏐 Wednesdays – U18s | 4:00–5:30pm
📍 Ballydehob Community Hall

No previous volleyball experience is needed. Come along, learn the game, build confidence, make new friends and help us see how far volleyball can grow in this part of West Cork.

The sun was shining, the grass was dry, and the volleyball was even better. ☀️🏐

A great day with good games, lots of laughs, and our volleyball community coming together to enjoy the sport. Days like this remind us that volleyball is about more than competition—it’s about friendship, teamwork, and making memories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We can’t wait for the next one!

Our first Grass Volleyball Tournament was a great success!

Congratulations to all our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in both the Youth and Adult competitions. More importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable day.

We were fortunate to spend the day at the Dunmanway Rugby Pitch, which was a fantastic venue with plenty of space for everyone to play, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing our volleyball community continue to grow. It was wonderful to see so many parents getting involved, helping throughout the day and cheering everyone on. On behalf of West Cork Volleyball Club, thank you to every parent who gave their time. We simply could not have run this event without your support.

A special thank you also to Arnolda from Volleyball Ireland for all your support, encouragement and guidance. We are very grateful for everything you do to help volleyball continue to grow.

Here’s to many more grass tournaments and more great days together as a club! 🏐💚

Everyone sees the matches, but some of the best memories happened in between. 🇵🇹🏐☀️

Portugal was intense from start to finish. We kicked things off with **3 matches on day one**, then **2 matches a day** until the final day, where we had just **one last game**.

With a schedule like that, every bit of downtime counted. Whether it was relaxing on the beach, enjoying the tournament parties, or just spending time together as a team, there was always something to do before it was time to compete again.

Those moments away from the court are just as much a part of the experience as the volleyball itself.
